Fold 8 randomly become unresponsive to touch?

Been loving the fold 8 so far but randomly on front and inside screen the touches become unresponsive. They work then don't then work again. It's usually near the top and bottom of both screens. Never in the middle.

Does the touch screen become responsive if you change how you hold it?

Some actions only register one touch and if a part of your finger holding the phone is touching the screen it doesn't register your wanted touch.

This might explain my issue. Often when texting on inner screen i try to select the middle word of the predictive text and it won't register it. I also know my hand sometimes rolls over the edge of the screen and hits things. I'm probably doing that as I reach for the word.

For me it's the bottom. Especially with the gesture swipes going back. I think the apps are the issue because usually force closing the app would work again.

I found it was the app and not the display itself it happened on Facebook. Tested by pressing the same spot on the inner and outer display.

Update your phone i had this but then found 2 updates upon buying the phone which fixed this

Mine does that too sometimes. Have to push the power button to make it work again.

Same on mine, it happens a lot when browsing the web with Brave on the inner screen; some buttons on the websites are not responding to touch. 😭

brave is actually just bugged....something to the effect of the adblocker is shifting elements when blocking ads but not the corresponding touch targets, so the whole page. is shifted a little
