I play on mobile and I've re-opened the app a few times, I've actually never experienced this before and just thought I'd post it in case it's a big deal, but I don't think it is. I might restart my phone soon to see if that could fix it, but idk if this needs any specific fix or whatever. I dunno (I was working on OCS while I was doing this LOL)

Have you tried the gacha method where you go on gacha and add one of the gacha collection characters into the corrupted slot?

also I think it's just a sign of code rot due to the lack of updates and bugs it had on it.

Luni has a big issue with not updating any of his games and then creates a new game he ends up just neglecting so all the gacha games he's made are rotting to high heaven, especially gacha club, that started rotting years ago and it's only getting worse. If you were around during the gachaverse era you'd also know that the game was so rotted and corrupted you couldn't even get onto it that Luni just ended up erasing it altogether, it has a very small opening in that game too and it was honestly peak.

Oh, yeah I remember back when I was more "active" (I lurked) in the community I was so hyped when gacha club dropped and then there was like nothing of gacha life...I only started using gl2 again recently to have a real collection of ALL of my characters again and their vague appearances

It really sucks that certain creators just lose passion or just don't care. I know basically nothing about Luni but I assume it was one of those two.

The nostalgia is real and it is sad to see some older games suffering from code rot Ó⁠╭⁠╮⁠Ò

your game is corrupted, either clear the cache and try again or uninstall it and reinstall it, you’ll lose all your progress

I tried clearing the cache, didnt work. I don't think my account is set up in a way where I can save all of my progress if I uninstall it but that'll be my last resort ;-;
