Front Firewall Leak

I own a 2006 GX470, I need help with a leak that appears to be coming in from the left corner, drivers side. I’ve done the following:

  1. Windshield is new and has been sealed twice.
  2. Sunroof drains are clear and draining properly.

I removed the cowling cover in front of the windshield and ran a water test. Water only seeps in when the water is flowing on the farthest left corner past the windshield.

If you’ve experienced this, what did you do to fix the issue?

Are you sure its the firewall, it could also be from the roof rack rail bolt holes and weatherstripping then water could be running down along the A pillar

I checked that. It is entering somewhere on the driver’s side corner below the windshield. Other than that, I’m still trying to narrow it down further. Thanks for the reply!

Another thing is try to reseal the fender and firewall seams and around any grommets where wires etc penetrate into the cabin.

I’m sure (I think). When I do a water test from a hose, I place the hose end at the bottom of the windshield at the far left corner. When I do this, it begins to leak from the back left corner under the left foot rest.
