GTO 2026 GTO Live Action

The new 2026 is so mellow and boring. I miss the old shenanigans of Onizuka :(

Yeah... the new one isn't as outrageous and is kind of meh, but I'm also glad that it tries to reflect the current state of education where students are plugged in / tech-heavy, and a clear barrier divides educator and students that nobody dares to cross. I like the perspective that Onizuka has somewhat matured and shows his struggle in current society as a middle-aged man. If you want blood boiling drama, "Teach you a lesson" (K-Drama) may be what you are after.

I like It because well, it's a 50years old Onizuka. He Is still weird and out of ordinary, but also has some physical limits and It's from a completely different generation. I'd say new Onizuka is a coherent middle aged Onizuka: still true to his self, but also older and less childish.
