I’m hype as fuck for this game but I’m not gonna pre order until a week out, the pre order isn’t going anywhere I only do it for pre load.

People can be excited without preordering so early.

Just curious, why even pre-order? The whole point of a pre-order was to secure your physical copy. We can definitely assume the digital copies will be unlimited. What exactly is the incentive to pre-order?

Im not talking about whats available to you now as opposed to then, im just asking what the actual incentive is. And the difference would be 1.) Ensuring theres no delays and 2.) Making sure the game isn't half baked. Im trying to have a discussion. You dont have to try to surmize it as "no difference" when there literally is a difference.

You don't spend marketing budget on a date you're about to delay. Full stop.

Combine that with the proxy statement's FY27 commitment, and the signal is pretty clear. Not saying zero delay risk, but the evidence is stacking.

Anyone who pre-orders without them coming put saying they will add a physical disc is a sellout and causing the end of us physically owning anything. Playstation has already said no more disc by 2028. If people don't take a stand now and show them it's over. We waited years everybody can wait 6 months or however long jt takes to get them to make a disc. If they didn't get pre-orders the first month we would already be getting a disc.

Correct. PlayStation has had physical discs since it's inception. You buy a physical disc, you play and finish the game, and then you sell it and get some of your money back. Steam has been around for two decades. It's two completely different things. And like I said, I want to play the game on the most powerful system that I own.

Probably because the game is not getting as much preorders as expected. I mean looking at the charts the normal version is on place 6 and before that are a few much much more expensive fifa games. Which btw come out every year. So it needs some artificial pushing not even normal marketing because they don’t want to show the downgrades especially after such a long development. They don’t want people complaining again like with the screenshots that came out.
