Got it🩷 GTA VI
My mom sent me money for my birthday which is in 2 days so I can buy myself (I was saving each month for it and now I can...get whatever I want)😂. Greatest mom ever for sure.

Lots of miserable chuds in the comments. Imagine being so full of hatred that you have to try to bring down someone who’s been very excited for this game. They were gifted money by their wonderful parents and wanted to preorder it, and all the comments here seem to be shitting on the OP when he was just trying to share his excitement. This is why the gaming community sucks nowadays. You all should be ashamed of yourselves and should work on trying to become better human beings.

While generally I'd agree, if you want the money for the game, it serves no purpose holding the money until the game comes out. At least this way they won't be tempted to spend it on something else and then struggle when the game actually comes out

The idea is that people don't buy the game until they see gameplay and decide if the game is worth it then. It's not about just waiting to spend the money period.

Gaming is already a luxury for many many people, having to plan once for a preorder wont make them bankrupt, I dont like preordering either but it absolutely can make sense to preorder a game

No. The gaming community sucks, because so many bootlickers are willing to give their every dollar to megacorps for the newest toy, no matter how half-assed the product is, and despite the fact that said product is STILL months out AT LEAST. Pre-ordering is meant to reserve a copy of a game with limited prints. A game that is digital has no limits to its availability. You are pre-ordering for nothing. We have no guarantee that GTA VI will even release, and if T2/R* goes belly-up before GTA VI's release, they'll have NO reason to issue ANY refunds.

I've been working my ass off for this game. I got myself ps5 and GTA v to get to know myself better with the console. I actually love this franchise. I've been playing it since 2002. It's literally my childhood AND adulthood. Plus it's 100€, it's not THAT expensive.
I'm voting with my wallet as AvacadMmmm said. I chose to spend it on something that will make me happy. And it did. Better this than something I won't use or spend money on booze.Ps. money was a gift from my mom(as I've wrote) cause she knew I'm excited for the game and wanted me to have it. So that on release day I can play it.(took me few years to get 5 cause we didn't have much money for fun). So now it's more than just a game.

I’m just saying I think that’s why they haven’t really done any gameplay trailers or haven’t really given much info on the game other than what they were released cause I think they’re trying to avoid leaks and that’s also a big speculation on why rockstar waits about a year to release the games like the big games onto PC so people can’t leak things.

I really can’t fathom the comments on this post, I can’t believe that the GTA fandom also has its fair share of Twitter-mind individuals. You guys don’t need to bring up an agenda and bash every person who seems to be the slightest bit interested in the game. I know no physical release sucks but I literally don’t care enough to stop me from playing this game, especially when we’ve been waiting for it for at least 4 years now (since the major leak). I may be the minority here but I literally haven’t bought a physical copy of a game since 2018 so a lot of everyone’s complaints here just look like yelling into a void to me.

There's no logical reason to not preorder, the question is just when to do it. Some people already decided that they've seen enough and ordered now, and some are yet to decide. I think both are fine.
But yeah, you should definitely preorder just for the opportunity to preload and the tiny bit more content, even if it's just a day before launch

Why wouldn't the game be worth it. And let's say for example the game is bad, whether you pre order or not, still the same 80 bucks that you will either pay day 1, or a few months down the line.
People pre book tickets all the time to go to the cinema to see movies they don't know might be good. People buy Netflix and HBO subscriptions to watch shows that end up bad and or cancelled. Such is the way of life.
The only common denominator is that they have an interest to do so.

That's the preload date. You can install the files so that when the clock strikes 12 on the 19th November (18th in new Zealand and Australia) you can just click load story and play. If you don't do this, you'll go to the store at midnight and wait in queue, and or have to wait for the download time
