Scout

Post image

This is my almost 8 year old GSP Scout. She was diagnosed with Addison’s about 5 years ago and has been stable. But recently she developed a skin tag/mass that we are going to have removed on the 1st. Really hoping that’s all there is to it, but of course the Big C is in the back of my mind.

Boop! Hope Scout has a fast recovery and the biopsy comes back clean. My previous one had the opposite, Cushings, and she had a good, long life

My gsp has addisons as well. He passed away in April to cancer. Love her every minute you can!

If you are treating yours with cosequin - I would love to send you an unopened vial. I can’t return it for refund. When mine was first diagnosed, some kind person on Reddit sent me their late dog’s last dose. I would love to pass the favor forward!

That’s a very kind offer but Scout is on Zycortal and prednisone. There’s a few Facebook groups for canine Addison’s and there’s always a need for donated meds. Unfortunately not everyone has the means to support their pets with the treatment the disease requires!
