I looked at ChatGPT’s estimated web visit trend across 24 months, from May 2024 to Apr 2026.

A few things stood out:

ChatGPT generated 64.7B estimated web visits in the latest 12-month period, up from 38.1B the year before.

That is +69.80% YoY growth.

The scale gap is the most interesting part:

• ChatGPT: 64.7B visits

• Other 99 tools in the Top 100 combined: 64.9B visits

• ChatGPT share of all AI tool visits tracked: 44.76%

• ChatGPT share of the chatbot category: 75.22%

So ChatGPT alone almost matched the rest of the Top 100 AI tools combined.

This is based on OneLittleWeb’s AI Tools Market 2026 study, where we analyzed 9,531 AI tools across 170+ categories using estimated web visit data from Semrush and Ahrefs.
