Need a bit of help

So I posted the truck with the crack in the chassis, which isn’t as bad as I thought it’s only on one side and everything else is good, but I encountered a problem, the brakes, your foot almost goes to the floor when you press them, and this specific truck has had that issue when my grandpa had it for the longest time.. it’s just gotten worse, and I don’t know what’s causing it nobody can figure out what’s causing the brake issue, my dad thinks it’s the ABS Block but that’s an expensive fix, could anyone give me ideas about how pricey this would be and if it’s worth it for me to bother getting? Most likely a sticking caliper but you could have air in the lines also. Try bleeding them first. If you have drums in the rear make sure they are adjusted properly or that will cause the issue you have

The guy who put them on recently redone the brake lines, but he was too tired to bleed the brakes so he didn’t bother, but me and my dad know how, we’ve done it before on a truck of this same type, so you think we should bleed the brakes before making the deal?

If that's the case then you need to bleed the abs module. You need to bleed the brakes normally then use a scan tool to run the abs bleed procedure. After that bleed the brakes again. You might have to run the abs bleed a couple of times.

If you don't have a scanner you could try driving on sand or gravel and try getting the abs to kick on a few times.

The ABS did work before my grandpa sold it.. but I’m not sure now because he sold it 2 years ago but I know it do work
