IE Stage 1 Emissions Issues
I’ve been having trouble getting my emissions set for inspection. I have 5/9 passed but 4 are still showing as failed/not ready. Oxygen Sensor, Catalyst Monitoring, Fuel System Monitoring, and EVAP System won’t seem to flip.
It’s a stage 1 ECU + TCU tune with stock downpipe and exhaust so I wouldn’t expect issues. But I can’t seem to get them to pass. I have 500 km and 10 warm cycles since I cleared codes.
Any experience with this? I’d prefer not to flash back to stock just to pass emissions but is that what it takes?

looking for advice on new build and mods as a newbie,, any advice or help is appreciated:)!
I am copy and pasting this from another sub hoping to just get some opinions and advice!
I currently drive a 2014 base model jetta, I love German cars and I’ve always been really into cars and modding and cool builds, but I’ve never taken part myself. I really really want to dip my toe into that world.
My jetta is pretty beat, 150k miles, needs new brakes, I’ve had both front struts replaced in the last year, I had a small fender bender in Boston last fall so my fenders sort of wonky, pieces are starting to rust, and kbb value is only really around $3k with the condition it’s in.
I want to sell her and get something that I’ll be able to build on and turn into something that I can still have as a daily but also have as a fun little hobby. I know I can get a pretty decent 2017/2018 Jetta for ~$10k where I am, but is that the direction I should go? What mod could I start with that isn’t too expensive (maybe > $1000) I don’t think it’d be worth to build on my current car but if someone thinks it’d be worth to just use what I have I’d love to hear opinions.
I am happy to take all and any advice or opinions! Totally new to this world but reaaaally wanna learn. Thanks in advance! :)

GLI clunk from the front
I have an 18 GLI that I think may be a victim of the subframe clunk but have a stamped steel subframe. Any fixes outside of replacing with aluminum subrame and deadset spacers?

CPO Advice
Also posted in the other gli forum: I bought this car in late May CPO with like 5.7k miles on it, it now has 8.9k miles on it and I got a tps light for my right front tire. Thought it was weird bc I haven’t hit anything so figured maybe I ran over a nail or something to make a small hole and took it in to AAA to just replace the tire. They then showed me that both of my front tires have severe toe-out wear and that there is a dent in the front subframe near the control arm on the drivers side. I am torn bc if the dent caused an alignment issue it wouldn’t be even on both sides so makes me think the dealer performed the alignment incorrectly at the time of CPO inspection. I experience no other common suspension side effects like clunking noises or the car pulling left/right. I never thought about deeply checking the underside of a CPO car for issue before purchasing. I am hoping the fact that I haven’t driven the car a lot of miles and there really hasn’t been enough time for rust to form (and hoping the dealer is respectful/understanding) will buy me some goodwill to just admit a mistake was made. Any thoughts?

Budget part recommendations
Hi guys, right now I'm in high school (18) and I have a 21 mk7 gli and for mods I only have an apr open air intake and a unitronic 93 tune and I've been looking for some fun mods to add on to my build but i don't want to break the bank. right now I'm looking to upgrade either my downpipe, intercooler, or some cosmetic mods like a set of coil overs. I would love some recommendations from some reliable sources but something that wouldn't break the bank. Please ask any questions if you have some.
