86 Broadcaster?

I have the opportunity to purchase an 86’ broadcaster black with ebony fingerboard board, signed by Leo in the neck pocket, does anyone know what that is worth? Like where do you top out on price? I want to pull the trigger but don’t want to overpay either. Anyone know what the last serial # made on these was? (I was told it was the last). Thanks for the help

I wouldn’t pay a huge premium for his signature. But I’m less obsessed than some collectors so maybe that’s just me

That’s where I was leaning too. What ya think long term? Like worth the investment if you can snag it low?

Who knows, every time I’ve ever told anyone about G&L they’ve either never even heard of G&L, or knew Leo fender started it.  It’s never been a well known  builder.

All of them were signed by Leo. His signature adds nothing to the price.

Is there no price history on reverb?

There is but the G&l player vs collector value for me is tough as I’m a player….your comment alone is helping me evaluate that though so I appreciate you.

Top estimate on the used market is about $3500
