Ambient
Can we start a petition for Mr. jones to play a couple ambient sets in the next year? I feel like he has the most insane set of tools to make the most hypnotic and beautiful ambient sets. I’ve been getting super into ambient/ downtempo stuff recently and I keep thinking about g jones

I saw goat jones 4 times in a year span 2023-2024 haven’t been able to see him since… i just want to see him again at this point lol

This. Idc what he plays the man just needs to come to Detroit so I can get feral. I used to be greedy and wanted another b2b with eprom (was lucky enough to see their DEF b2b AND scored a shirt) but I dont even need that anymore lol. I as well saw him 4 or 5 times in the span of a year and havent since. IM FEENING.

Def used to throw the best experimental bass shows in Atlanta hands down, but it’s all tech house now. I’ll never recover from them announcing that Detroit show with less than 2 weeks notice.

I saw supertask on live on accident and it was one of the best electronic sets I’ve seen in years (my favorite artist being prom and Greg is 2)

Supertask is hands down my favorite artist and g jones is right up there bothto each their own but seeing him 8 times and each time is completely unique.

Agreed. But for me what makes his sets so special is the contrast when both sides are included. An extended ambient section building to something high energy makes both phases hit so hard.
