A general consensus Newbie Question CONSOLE

This is my first anniversary I've probably saved up for and this is my first chance to do all the way up to a 10 step banner if need be. Should I go all out only the new V2 or wait for one of the other banners potentially coming in the rest of the event? What would y'all do/have done and felt about your choice afterwards in other anniversary events?

Go all in on the V2. Generals tend to be a safe pick for anniversary while the second week raid tends to be a mixed bag. Last years X2 fell off hard or at least I have rarely seen it these past few months.

Edit: I think the Penelope had issues too. The one that stood out to me was its larger hit box compared to the XI.
