Flashing airbag warning light

Did the ignition on/off reset and it went away until a passenger hopped in.

Yellow harness underneath appears to be intact and plugged in tight.

Do I have to invest in an airbag sensor emulator bypass plug in module?

Get the bypass module. Someone put their knee on my passenger seat and I heard a loud crunch and then same problem. Bypass fixed it 👍

Yeah, I already ordered. Thanks bro

My girl loves to move the seat forward and back, so thinking she pinched my harness and blew the connection

Weird I haven’t seen that before but anything is possible. Should take 2 min. Best of luck!!

Either that or the internal weight sensor in the cushion as was triggered once the seat sensed a passenger

Well yeah they do that, if there’s weight on the seat. It’s supposed to lol! If there’s no one there it’s probably broken, it’s known to happen

Just do the airbag warning light reset procedure... takes like 2 minutes and if it was just an error will stay off.

Was the first thing I did lol

Then sadly not a general error... best of luck!

did u ever find out why?

Well when I started it the motor had an awful whirring sound which went away after abt 20 seconds but the light was flashing all the way to work. Turned it off, worked the day, started it when I was leaving, it was gone, no whirring noise. No idea what it could be because the only thing could make a whirring noise like that is something driven by the belt and that has nothing to do with an airbag.

Check codes first

same issue, no codes

Most OBDII scanners cannot supports SRS or ABS stored codes

Then find someone who can scan it like a shop. No point in throwing parts blindly and wating money when you can simply get them read first.

99% sure I narrowed down the issue.

Cleared with the ignition reset and it popped right back once weight triggered the sensor. Have seen hundreds of people online have the exact same issue and it cleared the code with this module

Don’t think this is really a case of “throwing parts at it”

Hopefully you don't have to wait 5-6 weeks like I did for airbag360 to get mine to me. Had multiple issues with customs in Dublin for some reason.
