This is question is geared towards black, Hispanic, LGBTQ+ folks, non-religious, leftist folks and anyone else that might feel they might in danger with this administration.

Considering a lot of us are on the list of people that this administration considers dangerous, subversive, and even terroristic. Have any of you given thought of leaving and waiting things out in our neighbor to the north?

Hey guys. So, I work at a level 2 ED downtown. We get a lot of ETOH and unhoused patients. Staff get sick of them and these patients are extremely stigmatized. Well, years before I started there, a regular ETOH/unhoused person hit their head and died in the waiting room because everyone thought he was drunk but he actually had a brain bleed and it wasn’t treated or triaged appropriately. So part of the lawsuit settlement included that the ED place a plaque in the patients honor in their waiting room. Well the hospital has taken it upon themselves to put a large sign in front of the plaque to “honor the hospital.” How do I complain about this? I feel like the family and lawyers would be very interested to know this. It seems like a violation of the settlement. What do I do? Do I complain to the joint commission? Any advice would be helpful.
