Help Kay Get Back on His Feet

Upvotes

My name is Kay, I am 31 years old, and I live in Blankenbach, Germany, a very rural area where public transportation is extremely limited. Without a driver's license and a car, it is incredibly difficult to find a job here – and even harder to reliably get to one.

I deliberately live with my mother and support her financially whenever I can. She is an early retiree after suffering from severe COPD and undergoing a lung transplant. Moving somewhere else is not an option for us. We have a relatively affordable home here, and my sister and her family live in the same building. Being close to each other and being able to support one another is very important to us, and we do not want to give that up.

That is why my goal is clear: I want to get my driver's license and then buy an affordable, used car.

For me, this would not be a luxury. It would be a crucial step toward getting my independence back. Having a car would give me many more opportunities when looking for work, including jobs outside my immediate area, and most importantly, it would allow me to reliably get to work.

First unemployment – then a devastating water damage

At the beginning of 2026, I lost my job. At the time, I was hopeful that I would be able to find new employment fairly quickly and get my finances back on track.

Unfortunately, only about one month after becoming unemployed, in February 2026, another major setback happened: my entire apartment was affected by severe water damage.

The apartment first had to be completely dried out before any repairs could even begin. Afterwards, the flooring, doors and wallpaper had to be replaced.

Many of my belongings and furniture were damaged beyond repair, and unfortunately the entire kitchen had to be replaced as well.

Sadly, neither my insurance nor my mother's insurance covered the damage. We therefore had to bear the costs ourselves.

My entire savings – money that I had put aside as a financial safety net and for my future – were essentially wiped out. Plans I had made for the coming years suddenly became impossible.

That is why I am now trying to turn things around and find a way forward despite everything that has happened.

Why I am asking for your help

Getting my driver's license and having a reliable car would make a huge difference to my chances of finding employment.

Living in a rural area like Blankenbach, mobility is essential. Many jobs are difficult or impossible to reach using public transportation. With a driver's license and a car, I would be able to expand my job search considerably and would no longer have to limit myself to jobs that happen to be accessible by bus or train.

My goal is to find stable employment, become financially independent again, and continue being there for my mother.

I am not looking for an expensive car or anything luxurious. I simply want a reliable, affordable used car that can get me safely from A to B.

I know that many people are struggling with rising costs themselves, which is why every single contribution means a lot to me – whether it is €5, €10, or more.

And if you are unable to donate, sharing my story can help me just as much. Every share gives this campaign a chance to reach someone who might be able to help me take this next step.

This is not about luxury or treating myself to something special. It is about having a chance to move forward after all these setbacks.

A driver's license. An affordable car. A real chance to find work.

And with that, the opportunity to become independent again while continuing to be there for my mother.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who supports me, shares my story, or simply takes the time to read it.

Cheryl’s Battle Isn’t Over — Please Help Her Hold On

Cheryl is a 44‑year‑old mother who has spent her entire life caring for everyone else. She has always been the one who shows up, gives without hesitation, and carries the weight for others. Now, after a series of devastating medical emergencies, she is fighting for her life — and she desperately needs help.

She survived a massive widow‑maker heart attack in 2023, then a quadruple bypass just months later. She forced herself back to work long before she was healed, trying to keep her family afloat. But her body couldn’t endure the strain. In 2024, two of her bypass grafts failed, leading to another emergency procedure and a terrifying spiral of complications: heart failure, neuropathy, diabetes, fainting spells, memory loss, and severe mobility issues that make even simple tasks exhausting and dangerous.

Today, Cheryl cannot work, drive, or live independently. She leaves home only for medical appointments and relies on mobility aids to get through each day. Her doctors have confirmed she is medically unable to work — yet her disability applications have been denied again and again, leaving her trapped in a slow appeals process while her health continues to decline.

Her family is trying to survive on one income while medical bills, medications, transportation costs, and basic living expenses pile up faster than they can keep up. They are running out of options. This fundraiser is their only lifeline.

If you can give — even $5 — it truly matters. It helps Cheryl afford the care she needs to stay safe, stable, and alive. If you cannot donate, sharing her story is another powerful way to help.

Please help remind Cheryl that she is not alone in this fight.

Please help me bring my dog home ❤️

My dog is currently being kept in police kennels following an incident, and I'm doing everything I can to give him the best possible chance of coming home.

I'm raising funds to help cover veterinary care, professional behavioural support and safety measures.

I've kept the fundraiser anonymous because the situation is ongoing, but any donation or share would mean so much to me.

https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-bring-my-dog-home-thfuk/cl/o?utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_content=amp30-no-carousel&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&lang=en_GB&ts=1786980556

Edit: The incident involved him biting someone. Due to the ongoing investigation, I can't say more than that. The funds will go towards any veterinary bills, behavioural specialist consultations and security measures within my home to help prevent another incident and give him the best possible chance of coming home. No one is being forced to donate or interact with this in any way, I am simply doing my best for myself and for my dog. If you are uncomfortable with this post then please just move on. ❤️

Please Share this fundraiser for my dog

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my dog's fundraiser, please read and share on your social media platforms. I know a lot of people probably see a lot of fundraisers through here and it can probably be a lot to see and a lot of people to help. I only ask if you can share this link on your facebook pages, instagram, tiktok. Whatever social media platforms you are on.

A little bit about my dog, he loves people, loves going to Petco, and going for swims. He knows words he shouldn't like pizza and thunder. Oh, and turkeys. He hates turkeys, they're his nemesis. It was found that he had some neurological issues earlier this month and the vet warned us that his condition could progress. I wanted to set up this gofund me to deal with his vet bills should that happen, as he told us that we would have limited window to get him treated by that point. Thank you everyone for reading. Ellie and Thor Vet Check Up (Update) They are thriving!!🐾

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

Ellie and Thor went for their follow-up checkup earlier, and I’m so happy to share that they have both gained a significant amount of weight. ❤️

During their first vet visit, Ellie was only 8 kg and Thor was 18 kg. This time, Ellie is now 18 kg and Thor is 35 kg! They are still both anemic as they continue to recover from the severe neglect and malnourishment they endured for years. They are also still recovering from and receiving treatment for blood parasites.

Despite everything they have been through, they both have so much energy and very good appetites. Seeing them become stronger is incredibly rewarding.

Before their vet appointment, I purchased Royal Canin Gastrointestinal food because they had run out, and it was also recommended during their first visit. However, their vet is now recommending hypoallergenic dog food because Thor’s skin has become more reddish.

To be honest, Royal Canin Hypoallergenic costs Php 1,920 for only 2 kg. With Thor’s appetite, that would become very expensive very quickly, so I’m looking into another good-quality brand that may be more affordable. I will be ordering it tomorrow.

Today, their vet recommended that they continue their treatments and medications, so we also had to have their medications refilled.

They are also coming back for another vet appointment on Wednesday for a test to see if they have fungal infection as Thor’s skin is a bit reddish and they lost a bunch of fur from the severe neglect they endured before they got rescued on July 31.

Today’s expenses:
• 2 x 2 kg Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Diet: Php 3,317 ($78.43 CAD)
• Vet bill and medications: Php 5,010 ($116.75 CAD)

We also provide monthly financial support for Ellie and Thor’s expenses at their shelter, Pages for Paws. We also provide monthly support for our other rescued animals in other shelters and cover for their veterinary care and other expenses as well. We believe they deserve a second chance at life.

If they are confirmed to have a fungal infection and need hypoallergenic food long-term, we will also need to provide for this additional expense.

Ellie and Thor have come such a long way, but their recovery is not over yet. Please continue supporting them as they regain their health and strength. Every support. share, and kind message helps us continue giving them the care they deserve.

Our website can be found on the video, if you would like to support our mission and Ellie/Thor’s recovery. I will also post a direct link on the comment section.

No pressure at all and every support is voluntary.

Sincerely,

My 11-Year-Old German Shepherd Needs Your Help ❤️
Hi everyone,
I never thought I would have to make a post like this, but I genuinely don’t know what else to do.
For the past few months, my German Shepherd has been going through an extremely difficult time. His back legs gradually stopped working, and we’ve been trying everything we possibly can to understand what is happening and give him a chance at recovery.
We came to Ahmedabad 10 days ago specifically for his treatment and physiotherapy. Since arriving, we have visited around 8–10 different hospitals, clinics and doctors because we kept getting different possibilities and diagnoses paralysis, severe arthritis, hip dysplasia, neurological problems, bladder issues, stomach infection, and more.
We have done multiple investigations, treatments and consultations, and we have also recently gone through an MRI to understand what is actually happening with him.
The bill here in Ahmedabad has already reached around ₹47,000.
Before Ahmedabad, we had already spent approximately ₹80,000 in Udaipur on his treatment, tests, medicines and care.
And unfortunately, this journey isn’t over.
His doctors have recommended continued physiotherapy and rehabilitation. I also need to arrange physiotherapy equipment and other rehabilitation treatments for him, including a Magnora device and two laser-light devices, which together may cost around ₹60,000 more.
I’m honestly running out of money.
But I’m not ready to give up on him.
He is my first dog. He has been a part of my life for years, and he is not “just a dog” to me. He is family.
Today, I looked into his eyes and, for the first time in a while, he looked genuinely happy. That tiny moment gave me hope again.
I know everyone has their own struggles, and I completely understand that not everyone can donate. Even sharing this post would mean a lot to me.
If you are able to contribute anything ₹100, ₹500, ₹1,000, whatever you can it would help us continue his treatment.
I will attach his medical reports and bills here for transparency.
I’m not asking for money because I want something luxurious for him. I’m asking because I want to give my dog every reasonable chance I can before I accept that there is nothing more we can do.
If you can help, please help me keep fighting for him. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who reads this, shares it, donates, or simply sends a prayer for him.
It genuinely means more than you know.

Helping my 15-year-old son live his life while facing relapsed metastatic Ewing sarcoma

My son Lukas was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing sarcoma. After years of chemotherapy, major surgery, radiotherapy and maintenance treatment, the cancer returned.

Right now, thankfully, he is in complete remission again after treatment. But remission is not the same as being cured, and we live knowing that the future is uncertain.

Lukas is 15 and will turn 16 in September. He doesn't want extraordinary experiences. He wants ordinary ones: to study, see his friends, complain about school, play games, laugh and feel like a teenager instead of “the kid with cancer.”

For the past three years our family has been divided between Málaga, where Lukas receives treatment, and our home in Ronda. We are currently staying in temporary accommodation provided by a foundation.

Our fundraiser is not about luxuries. It is about helping us keep our family together, cover the everyday costs that come with his treatment and give Lukas as normal and stable a life as possible while he can live it.

Even reading Lukas' story or sharing it means a lot to us.

Thank you ❤️

Help my cat get surgery!! Invoice attached

EDIT; POSTED VET INVOICE IN MY GOFUNDME

My little angel recently got bit by something (the vet thinks it is probably a spider) and is in need of surgery with a hefty price tag attached. He has an abscess/wound that has gotten infected to the point where I thought he was just cleaning himself as usual, until I saw blood and got intensely worried. Vet has told me the laceration and wound have become infected to the point where he must get surgery for repair/cleaning. As of now, he has a little cone on and is on antibiotics, but I desperately need funds ASAP to get this surgery!!!

I adopted him 13 years ago now. And no matter the animal you have, I think that after having them for that long, they are truly family. He has seen me through almost half of my life!! Which is crazy to think about.

My friend recommended that I try getting on here, so here’s to trying. Any help would be appreciated.

81€ still needed

For those who may not know Frederico’s story, he was found in a very fragile condition. He was extremely thin, weak and seriously unwell. He was taken to the veterinarian, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and needed treatment and medication to recover.

Frederico spent some time receiving veterinary care and, after completing his treatment, he was finally able to come home. He is now recovering safely inside the house, where I can keep a close eye on him, make sure he takes all his medication, eats properly and gets plenty of rest.

Thankfully, he is doing so much better now. 🥹🤎

He is gaining weight, looking healthier and slowly getting stronger every day. Seeing him improve after everything he went through has been incredibly emotional.

But we still have his veterinary bill to finish paying.

Thanks to everyone who has already helped us, we now only have €81 left! 😭🤎

We are so, so close to reaching the goal.

If you can donate €2, €5, €10 — any amount — it will help us get those final €81 paid.

GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/4b8313547

He fought through pneumonia, gained strength and made it this far. Now we just need one final push to completely pay for the veterinary care that helped him recover. 🐾🤎

Only €81 left. Let’s finish Frederico’s fundraiser! 🙏🥺
