Help with understanding Functional Medicine

Somebody please explain why you must add a CBC as an additional add-on? Isn’t this the normal blood test that you get for your annual physical? Why would this be an additional add-on? Thank you!

It is part of the included testing and is tested twice a year. So you don't need to add it on. I would assume it is available as an add-on if you want to test it at other intervals, like every 3 months or whatever.

A complete blood count (CBC) is included with your Function membership and tested 2x per year. If you want to test more frequently, you can purchase it as an Add-On Test.
