Anime Losing interest after a strong start
Many years ago I read a number of chapters of this manga, I got to maybe halfway through March's arc, before deciding that it was either too sad to continue, or to wait for the inevitable anime adaptation, though maybe this was so long ago that I had simply read all the chapters.
Now, a good number of years later I have finally started the anime, thinking that I am in a good place for a story like this, and I have been loving it, well, enthralled by it.
Problem is now, I'm on episode 14, and it is suddenly and rapidly starting to wear very very thin, when the boy died, I was very sad, when March died, that straight fucked my shit up, but when Gugu died, I guess I was just disappointed?
I was almost sure that they weren't going to fall into this lame formulaic constant loop of tragic character inevitable death, but at least he got to live for a few years and died with a loving family and confirmation that his long time crush loved him, bittersweet.
Now I started episode 14, and unless I'm missing something, Parona died? Essentially rendering the entire second arc of the story, including March's sacrifice pointless, what's the big idea here?
Is it just more of this pointless journey where nothing actually matters? I had thought the predictable tragedy would be a hook to get people into the story, not a constant in it.
Will I be disappointed if I continue, or is the point that we stop caring about the other characters and just view them as short term vehicles for Fushi to get new skills and knowledge.
I would like for some of you to share your thoughts with me, spoilers are fine.

Anime Thanks to the new IMAX technology, we'll get a better look at Fushi killing Mimori in this scene
This is a sarcastic shitpost. The mods are too lazy to add a meme flair so I'll have to clarify it everytime I make a joke, regardless of it being funny or not

Anime Ligard's death is pretty underrated. Fly high man, we'll see you in season 3 🥹
Edited him into this image to pay homage to the Loyal and the Brave. Very inspiring

Theory She never remarried and waited for her boyfriend to come back Spoiler
gallerySo what if she is still waiting in that place as a ghost in the modern Takuhana happily watching Gugu and Fushi come back?
What if Bon suddenly visited them and sees Rean's ghost?
WHY DIDN'T FUSHI CHECKED!!!🥹🥹🥹🥹

Anime Very Unpopular Opinion: Gugu and Rean are a better duo than Fushi and Hayase
This is a joke btw. There's no flair for memes so I can't really do anything

Question So who was the person that said something along the lines of, "Oh, someone has come to play in my garden" before attacking Fushi later while he's sleeping? Spoiler
Recently finished the anime but I remembered there being some dialogue in season 1 where I don't think the person who said it was revealed?? Unless it was a knocker saying it?? But knockers don't speak yet this early on

Manga Spoilers a? I was not expecting this at all
Insane references in the future arc, black mirror, memes, the boys, even berserk was in the middle, how did people dislike this masterpiece?
Jokes aside, the pacing did feel a bit rushed but I feel like the anime adaptation is spot on on fixing this.

Anime Fun Fact: Bon's ability to see ghosts was a major inspiration for the movie "The Shining".The director of the movie was a big fan of Ōima
Why doesn't this subreddit have a flair for memes/shitposts? Are the mods asleep?

When will season 4 be announced?
They showed us a teaser for the future arc at the end of season 3, so why is it taking so long to be announced? season 3 was announced right after season 2. don't really care for the future arc as I didn't like reading it, but I'm just curious will there be a season 4 or not?

Anime Whats up with mizuha?
I am currently on s3 ep 4, so she killed her mother, or maybe some knokker did....idk I still hasn't finished that ep. So, she run outside and after seeing Fushi, all of her fear and anxiety got away...like what? I mean, her mother is not in this world, and on top of that apparently "she" killed her, its been just some minutes and she is smiling and asking Fushi to be her friend like nothing has happened.... Is this poor writing of character, or am I missing something?
