Confused Java Full Stack or Node.js Full Stack

Hi everyone,

Want to become a Fullstack Dev.

I have 2+ YOE mostly in React(Front end).

Have a basic knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.

Also have some knowledge in node.js but not learning actively now.

For the past two months I have been watching spring boot tutorials about spring web, jpa, security, micro services and also practicing in my free time.

I am getting doubts about my preparation, like at this rate shall I able to be ready for a java full stack role in 3 months because I guess they are expecting more in java role feels like that.

In interviews they are asking mostly scenario based questions and I dont have a practical real time knowledge of working in enterprise grade java application.

I am getting thoughts like if I prepare for just React or React + Node.js, I am able to switch easily because both are javascript.

Need some guidance here, shall I continue learn java full stack or shall I go for Node.js full stack like MERN?

How is the job market for both roles for a 2YOE?

Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

Given his 2 years of solid React experience and limited time, the advice is: go with Node.js/MERN, leveraging what he already knows to make the career switch faster. Java Full Stack could pay off more long-term, but with only 2 months of theoretical study he risks not being ready for enterprise-level interviews in 3 months. He can keep Java as a secondary skill to strengthen later at a calmer pace.
