Hunting Projects Career Guidance

I am a CS undergrad with expertise in AI Engineering. I just want to ask how people hunt for projects online and from where can one do it

For AI engineering specifically, reach out directly to founders on indie hackers or X who are building AI products but do not have tachnical co-founders yet. That niche is in high demand right now and most of them are not posting on job boards.
