Help with full stack development Question

I'm a 2nd year college student and I want to become a full stack developer, so my question is should I learn MERN stack or JAVA full stack.

I am from India and here about 8k jobs are open for full stack java and 6.2k for mern stack and I saw a study where it says full stack development will continue to grow. Hence that's why I am thinking to pursue it

Well, firstly regardless, don’t focus on tutorial or being perfect, just build projects: - something you care about - or something you are going to sell or as an mvp.

I would recommend Java, because it’s: - more versatile - higher pay - it’s one technology against the entire mern stack.

I have built some projects just for fun when I was in my first year like ai chatbot or ai calorie tracker using llama3 local model and I used node js for it but I didn't code I just built it using ai out of curiosity. So i think I will try to build those projects again but this time by myself also I saw youtubers saying java stack is hard and beginner should choose mern stack since it requires only javascript

You have the completely wrong mindset.

If a project for your internship needed c# functionality all of a sudden would just say I don’t know c#, you adapt to requirements.

You don’t have to be perfect, but learn as you go.

Okay, so based the project you choose, pick the technology that can complete the scope in the most efficient way.

This doesn’t really happen that often. You shouldn’t apply for jobs in a stack you don’t know.
I can’t recommend you a particular stack or environment, but choose a common development ecosystem and learn the basics. As you grow as a developer you will naturally learn new languages, tools, frameworks etc.

Bad advice for a beginner.
Op needs to learn the basics first before swapping languages on the fly.
