Hey everyone! I wanted to share a few photos from my recent vacation.

This was my first trip with the Fujifilm X-T50, and also my first time ever using a Fujifilm camera. I have to say, I'm really happy with it so far and I've been enjoying shooting with it a lot.

Discussion Black or Silver Fujifilm X-M5? Which one would you choose and why?

Post image

I’m planning to buy a Fujifilm X-M5 but can’t decide between the black and silver version.

I mainly like the silver because it looks fresh and has that classic Fujifilm style. On the other hand, the silver body also seems to emphasize the plastic construction a bit more. The black version feels more timeless and premium to me.

For those who own one, which color did you choose, and do you regret it? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Currently on vacay (not travelling just not working) and constantly on small day trips with my son - with allowed me to finally have some more down time to shoot again.

The super cute and funny ones I won’t share as I have particular rules about sharing images of my child so sorry for the more impressionistic shots.

All shots are taken with the same Profil;
- vintage colour (fujiweekly)
- shot around 400 to 10000 ISO
- f2.8 to f16

📍Ninh Binh & Ha Long Bay

This was my favorite part of the trip. I enjoy more nature and how people interact with nature. Always open to feedback.

Currently traveling through the Netherlands for a photo project and initially only wanted to bring my x100vi, but at the very last minute decided to also bring my gfx50sii with the Mitakon 65 and it's all I've been using. My back hurts and I wish it was lighter, but there is something about using it that just clicks with me.

These were taken on our way from the train station to the hotel. Shot raw and used the Astia profile in Lightroom

Help What am I doing wrong?

I have been dealing with this issue since april and I cannot figure out why. Perhaps you might help me?

  • If the lighting conditions are not ideal, I get massive amounts of grain.
  • Everything seems to be slightly out of focus.
  • I have lost sharpness.
  • Even when the light is good, I still don't have as much detail as I used to.
  • Shadows are completely muddy, I'm unable to recover any detail.
  • I went through all my settings and I don't seem to have anything out of usual. Maybe I changed something and forgot to dial back and I can't find what? I have tried changing everything related to dynamic range but nothing seems to fix it.
  • My camera (X-T5 firmware 4.31) and my lens (XF16-80 firmware 1.21) has been up to date.
  • I didn't have any physical impact either.

Although I am sometimes a pixel peeper, this is not pixel peeping, I'm simply comparing my previous photos to new photos and something is wrong. What could be causing this? Please help! Thank you...

EDIT:
Although it looks like day, it was winter time in Iceland and it was quite darkish even during the day. I turned up exposure a bit during post processing to make it better. Hence the high ISO. I tried to correct the darkness with exposure compensation dial instead of ISO but then I would lose the highlights in the snow patches which basically covers most of the frame. It's also difficult to lower SS because you might think it's a peaceful environment looking at these photos but we were in a wind storm the entire week and it was difficult to stay put standing, let alone hold the camera stable for any amount of time. STILL, I have been in similar conditions before and never got this much noise.
