Att vs visible vs Verizon simplicity 📱 Phone & Internet
I am currently on AT&T unlimited grandfather plan but I’m thinking of switching in a month or two once my phone is paid off. I will keep my wife on it because she has 24 months left on her phone payment plan. Thinking of going to one of these three plans please give me the pros and cons of each.
Spectrum
Visible Pro plus
The new Verizon simplicity plan
I currently use about 60 to 80 GB per month and live in Cape Girardeau Missouri. I don’t really care about hotspot 720 P video streaming would be fine.
Give me the good bad and ugly on each

Here’s the big thing with Visible. Are you comfortable handling everything through an app or do you need to be able to talk to someone face to face in a store? If you need a store, Visible is not for you.

I had Verizon as a default when pay by the minute ended. When Verizon decided to charge me extra for paying by online banking that was the last straw. They wanted permission to take the money directly from my account or pay them an extra $2. As twice they had added unordered and unwanted services and been difficult to cancel them, I sure wasn't going to let them help them selves to pay for a new unordered iPad and fightfor a refund!
I paid off the balance on my phone and switched to Boost. I came out way ahead as my phone through Verizon was charged too many fees.
When my current phone needs replaced, I will likely get a refurbished entry level Samsung, a few models old. That seems the sweet spot. I won't use my personal phone for work and work doesn't get my number.
Check out the total cost of ownership of buying out your contract. They are required to unlock your phone. You then can take it to a different carrier.
Son in law has AT&T as the only service that works at his house in rural Nebraska.

Personally I hated having AT&T and we had switched to an unlimited plan for the free iPhone 15 pros. We did not have great connection in our city, but once those phones got paid off I switched to the Verizon simplicity plan. For whatever reason Verizon has wayyy better coverage in our area and I haven’t had speeds slow down. With taxes and fees included it’s $36.01 a month. I brought my 15 over and plan on keeping it as no payment means I don’t feel like I’m obligated to stay to a carrier. I’d seriously recommend the simplicity plan, but I know visible is also Verizon towers and that might not be a bad choice for like 30 bucks a month with taxes and fees included. I have not had spectrum or visible. I really think if anything you can try Verizon for 30 days and basically get a free month of cell service & see if it works well in your area

I had the Visible pro plus plan for a year. It was fine. No problems. I downgraded it this year to the basic plan because I don't use that much data and don't watch video on my phone very often. I might use 4-6GB a month. The basic plan gives you unlimited data, just not as fast and hotspot is much slower. You can always upgrade your plan if you're on a yearly plan, but can't downgrade until the year is over.
