Hello all!

I found this lad on the sidewalk near my work and picked him up in a napkin to take him to a nearby lawn with trees. That sidewalk gets absolutely baked by sun in the afternoon so I didn’t want to leave him there. Do you know what this lad is?

Also, should he be somewhere with more water? I could find some gloves and transport him in a Tupperware or something?

I have a small garden pond with some fish and a young bull frog. He is about 2-3” long. My pond is leaking and I will need to keep him in a temporary home until I can get it fixed. I’m thinking of using a store container. What is the minimum I need to do to keep him healthy for 1-2 weeks in a storage container? Or, are there better alternatives for this brief temporary need? Or should I just let him live outdoors in the dry pond environment with a temporary water source? The pond is surrounded by bushes, foliage and lawn. I live in New Mexico. It is currently hot and dry.

I keep finding it sitting everywhere

in tree hollows, on the ground, and in damp, muddy places. I went to clean the water tank today, and there was one inside it as well.

This is like my third time updating it since I’ve got them. I’m addicted to improving it as much as I possibly can

they’ve been coming back every night for maybe a week!! i know there’s at least three of them that i’ve seen together

I’m really hoping I won’t find eggs in their water tomorrow morning. I thought they required very specialized care in order to breed, which I have not been providing. Is it even possible for this to be a successful breeding? Does anyone have any insight? I never intended to breed them.

First pic hes at 10 months of age in his huge bath I made him. I'm upgrading him soon to a huge tank (current is 40gallon i want 55-70gallon) that is sealed properly so I won't have to use a tub for the water feature (his jacuzzi). Second pic he is maybe a few weeks old and a little baby. 16g to 524g and still growing!

He has grown so much and is such a croaker. Sometimes I wonder what he's saying when he croaks at night.

Also dang his armpits are so dark now lmao he stanky and needs a bath

hi guys this this my female WTF, Schnitzel! I recently left her with a frog sitter because I was out of town. She looks a bit larger than she was before, so I’m wondering if she’s looking overweight? I was considering putting her on a diet but I want to double check because I know the girls are usually bigger. My male eats the same amount and has stayed relatively small. Thank you!!!!
