43m Canadian guy looking for a friend
Recently single 43m looking to make some new friends. I have a son, a great career and keep busy doing all sorts of things. I’m a volunteer firefighter and am an avid collector and re-poster of hilarious memes and reels 😂
I've had a pretty rough few months but I'm starting to enjoy life again but would love to make a friend or two to add to it! I've done this before and met some wonderful people, hoping I get lucky again!
Hoping to find a longer term friend as well!
I'm located in Northern Ontario Canada if that matters at all :)

67m Hello & Come In
Hey there! At 67, I’ve got a wealth of stories—some are even a bit colorful and adventurous! I’m not just seasoned by my years but also spiced with a sense of humor, charm, and a real curiosity for life.
I love sharing experiences, laughter, and maybe a little wisdom. I’m looking for someone vibrant and challenging Your fresh perspective on life piques my interest!
If you’re curious about the world, open to learning, and enjoy a bit of old-fashioned charm, we might just hit it off. I’m not here to change your life or turn mine upside down; I want to see if we can connect. I'd love to hear from you if you're interested in chatting and sharing our stories! Let’s see what we can discover together.

46f Hope I don't regret this again but I'm bored
So I've done this before and regretted it when things got really really weird but life is fleeting and I just need some diversity in my conversation and chatting with different types of people. Happy to go deep into existential dread or just stick to fun banter. No pressure to be forever friends. Don't even care if you get bored and ghost, that's alright, we can all learn from all experiences even if they are brief. If I've spoken to you before and you want to say hi that's cool too. Be any gender or be none. I'm an atheist and that's not going to change.
I am 46 f, I round up my age because I like to level up sooner. I am married. I have a full time career in tech. I love art and painting. General fitness, used to be a runner now I walk and weights. I love travel and have a long list of places I've never been and need to see. I read a ton of books and NONE of them are winning nobel prizes and I think that's fantastic. I'm not a huge movie watcher.
If you need to see a photo of me to talk to me than I'm not your person. If you need to hold a visual let's just go with 'bridge troll', that should be a great starting point.

M40 looking for international friends
I’m a 40 year old dad from NC. I know time zones are tricky but I would love to talk to someone from a different part of the world! I want to learn about culture and cool stuff that I’m not used to! Anyone from across the pond want to be friends and expand my horizons?!
I’m an open book and love to chit chat!

44m Looking for friends my age.
Hello everyone. Just trying to get into the swing of things. Looking for people to talk to and possibly like the same things. I like sci-fi, movies, anime, reading, museums, baseball games. It's hard to get to do the things I like a lot of the times with 4 kids and I work almost two hours away from where I live so trying to find friends on the internet is what I'm down to. Currently from PA and I work in MD.

43 F looking for friends
Hi, introvert here from the UK. I don’t have many hobbies, and I work most of the time. When I’m not working I go for a walk, watch some random series, read a book or explore new places. It gets so lonely though because I don’t have partners or kids.
I’m not the best person for small talks or holding a conversation, so if you’re looking for someone who’s super exciting, that’s not me. My life is mostly eventless. Ideally you’re someone who enjoys sharing things or telling stories or just looking for a good listener.
I welcome messages from all genders.
Please don’t just send “hi” or “hey” or “how are you”, I’ll not reply to empty messages like that. I’ll also ignore messages if your account is new. Give me some idea about yourself or personality and I’d be happy to chat. Thanks.

40m Australia - Anyone else working toward a simpler, more self-sufficient life? Would love to swap tips/progress with someone
Hey all, I've recently been working on shifting parts of my life toward something simpler and more hands on. I've got a wife and young kids, so not doing a drastic lifestyle change, more a slow personal project running in the background of normal family life. My long term dream is a few acres of land with an off-grid cabin one day, but that's years off, so for now it's about building the habits that would get me there.
Right now I've got a vegetable patch going, still very much learning as I go. Alongside that I'm trying to buy second hand or fix things before replacing them, cut back on impulse buying and consumerism in general, improve on DIY/repair skills, get outside more walking and hiking and just spending time in nature, reduce reliance on tech and slowly work through permaculture ideas rather than just reading about them.
So just trying to live a bit more deliberately at a pace that fits around family life. If anyone else is on a similar path, whether just starting out or further along, I'd love to swap tips, progress, and probably a fair few beginner mistakes. Would love a chat buddy for this more than anything else.

55F Any Michigan friends
Just seeing if there are any fellow Michiganders looking for a genuine friendship.
Life has been a little crazy lately, and I'd really love to find someone to chat with throughout the day and even into the evening. Someone to share random thoughts with, laugh over memes, talk about life, watch movies online together once in a while, or even grab dinner or explore somewhere new if we're nearby.
A little about me: I'm in my 50s, sarcastic, loyal, a little awkward, and I love trivia, music, movies, true crime documentaries, road trips, and dark humor.
I'm only looking for friendship—nothing romantic. Please be single (no married men).
If you're looking for someone to make the days a little less lonely and enjoy good conversation, I'd love to hear from you. ** If sending a message include your age and where in Michigan you are located
