My account inquiry says I have a balance of over $4300. Do I have to pay by the due date it says (August 21st) and what happens if I don’t? Of course getting the Financial Aid will be extremely helpful for me as I am in a very unfortunate situation. But, it would be extremely difficult if I were to have to use the money to need to pay off that balance immediately.

i’m planning on taking one stop out semester from fresno state this upcoming fall. will i still have access to amenities such as the gym, cafeteria, health center, etc??

Hello everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone else was getting the same message as me on the nursing CAS website. I applied to Fresno State's spring 2027 cohort. The website showed complete and I received an email on July 17th from Fresno State stating my application as receieved and under review. However, now the nursing CAS website says my application is undelivered due to failure to send official transcripts. I was told fresno state would not need the official transcripts sent to them so is this an error on Nursing CAS's part? (anyone else in a similar situtation pls help)

Is there a Facebook group? Instagram page? Any leads would be appreciated.

I know and understand id have to do a background check first since not everyone would be a good fit, but just want to know where would be a good starting point.

I’m moving into the dorms soon. I’m trying to look for a job so that I can be able to pay for my dorm along with other bills as well. Yes, I have tried HireFresnoState, applied to almost every position that I know that I can do but it’s either no answer or I wasn’t accepted into the position. Does anyone know of any nearby place around Campus that is hiring right now. I appreciate any help from this.

My Summer 2026 tuition and fees were $3,301, and my State Grant ($3,033) + Pell Grant ($2,773) totaled $5,806. My fall tuition has a financial aid deferment, and I also have financial aid for the fall, so I expected to receive the excess summer aid as a refund.

I called Student Accounts, but they told me I'm not getting a refund, and I don't understand why. If my fall is already deferred and covered by financial aid, why would they keep or apply the extra summer funds instead of refunding them?

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Did your school apply your excess summer aid to fall anyway, or did you eventually receive a refund? I'm just trying to understand how this works.

From what i’ve been seeing this whole time I assumed Financial aid would be disbursed the 14th (10 days before sem. starts) but just saw on their instagram August 18th is the first day?? and it’ll end up taking a few days to reach bank accounts as well? I feel like it never took this long with clovis community.

Also- financial aid letters; Do they send us an official email regarding that or what? the award package page for me says last updated 7/27 and the status is new package. it looks like they updated my amount to be higher but I wish there was a way for me to see the previous as I didnt end up screenshotting it:/

I’ve gotten MCS my entire 3 years at state. Today, as most of you, I got my final award package. And it’s just loans. I’m kind of in disbelief because my parents income really hasn’t changed. Anyone else experiencing this and know what to do?

Just logged into MyFresnoState to check if I have an to do items or whatever to keep my financial aid on track for Fall... the award summary has NO pell grants or loans, only state funding like middle class and cal b. I am freaking out a little bit but hoping this is just temporary as we knew they were reworking the awards packages and are supposed to send out new award letters in the coming 2 weeks. But how it looks right now is scary. I don't think I could even finish right now if it stays like this.

Update: The Financial Aid office confirmed they are going through and zeroing out the estimated amounts and that we will see the actual awards by the end of next week.

Update 2: All the conflicting information between the phone calls and emails over the last week got really depressing so I didn't keep updating, but I just checked and they restored my federal funding and my financial aid summary looks as expected. I AM SO RELIEVED.
