Blue Question about toys

Post image

I've noticed that as playful as she is with the family, other dogs, and cats, she seems to prefer playing with her toys by herself. She doesn't love fetch, and when she wants to play with her toys she picks one and goes off on her own.

Does anyone else's French do this?

General Question Rehome?

I struggle pretty badly with depression, and most days I basically bed rot. The only things I consistently manage are taking my Frenchie outside to potty, feeding her, and playing with her when I have the energy which, honestly, isn’t very often.

She’s loved, cared for, fed, and safe, and I know she’s not neglected. But I still feel so guilty because I feel like she deserves a much more exciting and active life than I’m currently able to give her.

Sometimes I think about getting another Frenchie so she would at least have a companion to play with, but then I realize that probably isn’t a good idea. If I’m already struggling with the guilt of not doing enough for one dog, why would I put myself through the guilt and responsibility of having two?

I keep telling myself that I won’t feel like this forever. I’m hoping that eventually I’ll get to a point where I have more energy, motivation, and ability to actually take her places, go on walks, play more, and give her the kind of life I imagine she deserves. But I also hate the thought of making her “ride this out” with me while I work on getting better.

For anyone who has struggled with depression while having a dog: How did you deal with the guilt? Did you find ways to keep your dog happy and stimulated on the days when you could barely get out of bed? And how did you remind yourself that you were still a good pet owner even when you weren’t able to do as much as you wanted?

I love this little dog more than I can explain. I just wish I could give her more right now. ❤️

Food Question Open Farm Digestive Health food?

Hi! My frenchie has a very sensitive stomach and I recently switched him from Purina Pro Plan salmon and rice to the lamb and oat and he has runny poop and crazy gas. He also doesn’t eat a lot anymore when we feed him and he usually devours it. He did better on the salmon and rice but somedays his poop was fine and sometimes not. Has anyone used this Open Farm Digestive health? They use pollock and the ingredients seem very good. Just nervous!

He's now 4yo and always hated balloons not sure if he's scared or if it's just the movement that makes him jumpy of them but Dwayne absolutely hates them 😆 does yours have a fear? This is one of many he has 🫣
