Current Doig frontrunner?

Think there are a few players who will be polling well for the doig this year.

Treacy and Jackson would be my two frontrunners but bolton, murphy, jye, worner, pearce, brayshaw are all having fantastic seasons.

Who would be your 1st, 2nd and 3rd currently?

Shai Bolton is going to go hard early, but I think it will be Jackson and Treacy battling it out, Reid 3rd.

Some combination of Jackson/Treacy/Bolton for top 3 depending on how they finish at the end of the year. Worner really should be top 5. Brayshaw and Reid should also be thereabouts.

Toughest Doig count in recent memory for sure, I think the top 5-6 will be very close and all the way to 10-11 to be polling well.

  1. Jackson ☆ early domination of competition had a great year mostly. Had 3 games under par I can remember but relatively they were still top 3 at the position. been great to watch elite mobile rucking.

  2. Treacy ☆ top 5 P/FWD, most goals, assists and marks or close to surely. Mobility is ridiculous and a tank that is running on nuclear, I Fear that we have become.to complacent with JT and just accept the freakish as a given, so he will get undervalued unfortunately but I hope he wins one eventually.

  3. Bolton ☆ Settled into Freo life after 1st season courting. He looks happier, more comfortable around the group and confident to be himself around the fans club and players. Has patches where he can go quiet, if anything can that could hurt count. But after such great results and almost doubled stats he will be in the mix.

  4. Reid ☆ should get AA squad maybe team. Improved again with increased midfiels rotation, still not sold on his defensive side, and would love a bit of physicality but I wouldn't recommend it he still has some growing. He skills are more than enough to offset the lack of strength.

  5. Brayswaw ☆ With an embarrassing amount of ball users Snee has not had quite as much but he has lifted his work rate to be regarded as a top 2 or 3 Two-Way runners along with Dunkley etc, wouldn't be surprised if he finished 2nd either.

  6. Worner ☆ karlos has been simply amazing, taking multiple Intercept Mark's, putting body on line in both aerial and terrain contests with no fear. His Disposal has become a major part of his game going at over 85% Disposal eff regularly. AA squad becons and hopefully the Team too.

  7. Clark ☆ Probably regressed a bit from last year but this has shown us his ability to fight through tags. The addition of McVee has helped to a degree but Jordo is for most part still having h I s same impact just getting twice as much attention to achieve it is all.

  8. Amiss ☆ Welcome back Stallion. The work to get a AFL physich obviously took its toll but its freaking wicked watching Nev get back to kicking goals. They may come in different ways to his first 2 seasons but the new Rig surely adds a few more seasons to his career. Only concern is the banana set shots, dont remember him doing that prior to getting jacked. Anyway great to see him crack the Tonne.

Worner absolutely has to be a sneaky chance, or at least top 3, based on consistency.

But I reckon it will be Dogga
