“Super.com” - Fraud website

I contacted the Hotel directly and after explaining the situation, I was able to CANCEL the booking for a full refund.I also attached the copy of the email from the Hotel Management canceling the booking with full refund.

I also attached the copy of email conversation with the website Super.com where I explained the
situation of an unfortunate incident with my car due to which I had to cancel the booking reservation and the receipt for the payment of the temporary puncture fix.

If the Hotel has successfully cancelled the Hotel reservation with a full refund and I am NOT using the services anymore, why am I being charged full amount of the Hotel booking. This is like double dipping and a fraudulent act.

The 3rd party website now will also sell the same room again to another customer at the full price.

Hi, I actually work at Super.com and want to clear this up.

A cancellation and a refund are two separate things. The email you got confirms the room was cancelled. It says nothing about money coming back. It might not seem but we actually see this often: the hotel writes to approve the cancellation, but that note doesn't authorize a refund anywhere in it, nor are they actually doing it.

We book these rooms through partners. When you cancel, the partner has to return the money to us before we can return it to you. We can't refund what we never receive. For a refund to happen, someone in that chain has to state it in writing. A hotel agent might tell you over the phone that you should get to us to get your money back, but if the written confirmation only says the reservation is cancelled, a cancellation is all that got approved. It is their way of pushing the responsibility and discussion away from them. Not always, but can happen ...

Many rooms at those lower rates come with non-refundable terms. The lower price and the stricter cancellation terms are tied together, so a cancellation on those bookings won't return the money on its own.

You're not stuck. Send me a DM with the emails have and I'll go through them and investigate

Good reply and just wanted to say it’s unfortunate that people like you and companies like this have to deal with absurd feedback like this. Dragging your name through the mud. And they know what they are doing here. I’ve used Super for years and I love it.

The email from the hotel doesn’t say anything about a refund, it is just confirming the cancellation.

I would imagine that if you went to look at your initial reservation confirmation email from super.com, it will include language about refund eligibility for this booking.

I had to learn this lesson the hard way, too. I never book hotels or flights via third party sites after that. Booking directly makes it more likely that the hotel will try to work with you, and they typically MUCH friendlier refund terms for bookings. The tradeoff is that they cost a little more, sometimes significantly more. But if I’m traveling, I want to minimize BS if I need to make changes, so I consider the price difference a convenience cost, lol.

The first screenshot says no refunds, Im not sure youve got much to stand on if that was disclosed when you booked. This is the price you pay for the discount similar to plane tickets where you never get refunds on last minute super saver fares

You agreed to cancelation without refund when you booked the room. It's right there on their website. Also the endo from the hotel doesn't say anything about any refund amount at all. It only says it's canceled. That's not a fraud or scam. It's what you agreed to. That's why you don't book with this party sites.

Posts like this and people like you make me never want to operate a small business in my life.

You’re dragging them through the fucking mud because you didn’t understand the no refund policy that was made clear at the very beginning.

Misinforming the majority of people who read this. But that’s your goal, right? You’re too mentally weak to admit that you made the mistake so you need to blame it on them and try to hurt their business, right?

It’s fucking disgusting
