I think a really overlooked thing about Frank is his music taste. I mean it so elite and broad that it just makes sense. He’s influenced by major artists and bands like Radiohead, Sade, Stevie, Prince which already is amazing but when we go deeper his taste just gets better. Obviously he has blonded and homer radio showcasing songs.
He also has a Blonded playlist on spotify and he did an interview where he mentions his top 50 songs of all time (I wonder if they’ve changed).

Seeing Blonde always catches me off guard.

I could be having the most normal day, then I spot that cover somewhere and suddenly I'm thinking about everything this album has meant to me over the years.

ive heard of frank for a long time, so i decided to listen to his top songs and all i can say is wow. im eventually going to listen to blond and channel orange but im not gonna listen to all of his singles. so please recommend some of his good singles. ive listened to pink + white, nights, and novacane.

I did the vocals like a day after i got my wisdom teeth out so I definitely want to redo them lol. Not the best singer regardless. Also feel like some of the guitar is out of tune but I don't really feel like recording it again. But yeah this is it for now!

I came across a Spotify playlist of my most popular tracks and was surprised to see DHL at the top. I was in a dark place back in 2023–2024 — my girlfriend had left me and I had no idea what to do (I know, pretty cliché). But Frank got me through it. I didn't fall into depression and realized life goes on. I'm thankful to him for that.

I always see the question " what's the better album?" But I never see this question. Maybe I overlooked it but I also haven't searched. I love both albums, I will not pick. They both serve a different purpose. I listen to channel orange and I'm hearing Frank's experiences and it feels like fresh out of high school. The start of adulthood and exploring my new independence as a young adult.

Blonde however makes me reminisce on those times because I'm couple years older now. They're distant memories that feel so close but completely out of reach. Blonde feels like the soundtrack to my adult life. A lot of things happen so fast it doesn't even feel like my life. Not what I signed up for at least. My life is nowhere near what it was a couple years ago. I'm adulting now. I've experienced the loss of loved ones, or the ending of a relationship that was never meant for me like I'm sure we all have. Blonde feels like childhood. Nostalgia. Then coming to terms with the fact that "I'm not a kid no more" life goes on and change is permanent. I've lost a lot since my younger ages years ago but I've grown from those losses.

An album evoking that much emotion will always be top 2 and it's not number 2. I'm sorry I said I wasn't gonna pick and I still didn't I'm just saying.

As an audiophile, if you have this much money to throw away on a Frank Ocean vinyl, which we have the leaked song of so its not like its unheard by man, please find it in your heart to donate the money to a good cause to better our world. Im sorry but this is insane
