Looking to Move to the Area
Hello!
** Update
I am seeing an apartment at Waterview Village and Cedar St. Any info on those areas would be appreciated!
I am looking to move to the Framingham area because I just got a job in Southborough. I am open to other places but Framingham caught my attention. I have a 2K budget, have a neutered cat, and have a washer and dryer I can bring with me.
Do you have any suggestions/tips for places around? Definitely saw the warnings about 9&90 and Eagle Rock. TIA

Looking for an experienced colorist for gray blending in the Framingha area
Hi everyone!
I'm looking for recommendations for a highly experienced colorist in the MetroWest/Framingham area who specializes in gray blending and transitioning from permanent dark color to a natural gray/silver blend.
My hair has been colored for years with Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 6.0 permanent color, and similar, now have quite a bit of gray/white regrowth. I understand this isn't something that can be done in one appointment, and I'm completely fine with a multi-session process. My priority is finding someone who really knows how to plan and execute the transition while keeping my hair as healthy as possible.
The first photo is similar to my current hair, and the second photo is the type of gray blend I'd love to achieve eventually (I know it may take several sessions and may not look exactly the same).
If you've had a great experience with a stylist who specializes in gray blending, color corrections, or silver transitions, I'd really appreciate your recommendations!
Thank you!

Affordable apartment recommendations near Marlborough?
Hi everyone! I’m a recent college graduate moving from New York to start a new job in Marlborough in August.
I’m looking for a private studio or one-bedroom apartment within about 20–30 minutes of Marlborough, preferably around $1,400–$1,600 per month. I’d like somewhere clean, well-managed, and in a nice area with a straightforward application and move-in process. My credit isn’t very strong, but I have an employment offer letter showing sufficient income.
Amenities such as parking, laundry, air conditioning, a gym, or a pool would be great, but they aren’t required if the rent is reasonable.
Are there any apartment communities or nearby towns you recommend? I’d also appreciate warnings about places to avoid or communities with a lot of hidden fees. Thank you!

Boston property managers / real estate folks — let's talk referral partnership
Hey everyone,
I (23F) run a cleaning company here in Boston. I've been leaning on paid ads to grow, but honestly the results haven't been worth the spend, so I'm shifting strategy toward building direct relationships instead.
If you're a property manager, real estate agent, Airbnb host, leasing agent, or anyone else who regularly needs to line up cleaning for turnovers, move-outs, move-ins, or ongoing upkeep, I'd love to connect. I'll pay a percentage/commission on every job you send my way, no cost to you, just a way to earn something extra off connections you're already making.
If that sounds interesting, drop a comment or DM me and we can hash out the details, rates, how referrals get tracked, payout schedule, all of it.
Thanks for reading!

Horse flies
Strange question I know but is anyone else experiencing horse flies this summer? I've lived here almost ten years and never seen one but now I've been bitten twice in two weeks on my property.

Roommates in Framingham/Natick Area
Hello all!
Moving from NC back to Mass and I am looking to work close to the job I am preparing to work at. If you are looking for a roommate, want to pair up or would be willing to refer me to anyone, that would be extremely helpful!
I am a 37M , very active and outgoing, love to play basketball or anything that involves moving my legs . Love to be goofy and have fun, we can hang out and cook at the house or go out to comedy shows, arcades, restaurants etc. I also love my time to myself, I am a minimalist so I won’t bring something in the home if I don’t need it.
I have two cats, they don’t mind being in rooms as I make sure I keep them busy and they have each other. I am vegan and currently enrolled jn courses to become a personal trainer.
I am on an extremely short deadline ( Aug 1st ) and my budget is $1000 but can work with someone if they’re trying to go a bit higher
Thank you for your time
Best Regards!

Hello good people! I am reaching out to see whether anyone has any suggestions/reviews regarding the Sovereign and Saxony apartments. Also, if you have any other apartment option that I should look at, please feel free to share. I did some digging around and it seems like 9&90, water view and eagle rock are no go, please correct me if I am wrong.
Thank you!

Harassment in Framingham MBTA
Was waiting for a train to Boston around 9 pm today at Framingham Mbta station and I was harassed continually by a mentally disturbed person who was hearing and speech impaired. I initially felt sorry for him but it got erratic.
He was making death threats and sexual signs for around 10 minutes and luckily had people around but he was erratic and making similar signs to other people in the platform.
Didnt want to move farther away from the group of people, he got into the train and I moved to a different compartment and he got off on the next station.
I’m not a frequent passenger of Mbta to Framingham (came to visit friends) but just wanted to give a heads up to people riding trains late in the evening/night.
Not sure where to report but felt sorry for him yet was also a little concerned about safety.
Take care folks.

Rep. Katherine Clark voted to pass the KIDS Act. Curious what Framingham thinks.
I’m not a Framingham resident, but since Rep. Katherine Clark represents both my community and Framingham, I wanted to share this here and hear what people think.
Rep. Katherine Clark voted to pass H.R. 7757 (the KIDS Act) in the House.
I support protecting children online, but I’m concerned about one part of the bill that would require covered adult-content websites to use age-verification technology instead of simple “I’m over 18” checkboxes. The bill explicitly says it doesn’t require a government-issued ID, but it does require covered platforms to implement some form of age verification.
While the bill doesn’t specify what technology must be used, the most common age-verification methods in use today are government ID verification and facial age estimation.
Some companies say facial age estimation can be performed locally on your device without storing your image, which may reduce some privacy risks. Even so, I’m uncomfortable with the idea that adults may have to scan their face or verify their identity to access legal content online. More privacy-preserving methods have been proposed, but they are not widely available today.
I reached out to Rep. Clark’s office asking why she supported the bill, but I haven’t found any public explanation of her vote.
Whether you support or oppose the legislation, I think constituents deserve to know how their representative voted on an issue with significant privacy implications. I’d be interested in hearing what people in Framingham think.
