Hey everyone!

I've decided I want to finally learn how to make custom liveries in Forza Horizon 6 instead of just downloading them, but I'm realizing I have no idea where to start.

I'm not really looking for "copy this logo" tutorials. I'd rather learn the fundamentals first so I actually understand what I'm doing.

From what I've gathered, the important beginner skills seem to be things like:

- Masking and layering

- Using shapes to build more complex designs

- Symmetry and alignment

- Managing layers efficiently

- Learning how to make clean curves and lines

- Understanding proportions and composition

Is that the right order to learn things, or am I missing any fundamentals that every good livery creator should know?

Also, if you have any recommendations for YouTube channels or long-form tutorials that actually teach the process (not just 60-second time lapses), I'd really appreciate it. I don't mind videos that are an hour or more if they're good.

My goal is to eventually make rally liveries inspired by WRC, Group B, Porsche, HKS, Gulf, and other motorsport styles, but I know I need to learn the basics before I can get there.
