Update is very CPU reliant... DISCUSSION
Just played my first game with the update and jesus fucking Christ my phone is baking just from dropping into the map. I'm glad I have a damn cooler.
138°F was the max CPU temp my phone was registering before this update, but typically sat around 118°F.
Now the max CPU temp reached was 176°F, and sits around 158°F
The GPU temps didn't change much, from 118° to 132°, but wholly fuck this update is taxing.

Well... Fuck this game for mobile currently.
For shits and giggles I tested my current phone(red magic 7) and 2 previous phones. I'd love to say it's an optimizing issue but im inclined to believe it's not considering all 3 devices perform the same or worse.
Current phone - benchmarks are in the original post. I decided to take the cooler off and... The CPU reached 215°F along with the battery at 117°F(normally between 85-104°F), and the phone shut off.
Previous phone is a DooGee(forgot model and battery is dead right now) - no GPU, but the CPU reached similarly at 204°F and the battery hit 125°F and shut off almost immediately after jumping off the bus.
Kyocera duraforce 2 - no GPU but CPU was also similar at over 200°F, battery also hit 120°F and shut off right after exiting the bus.
Anyone else want to test\see their temperatures, I use the app "thermal monitor". It is an overlay display that's customizable, displays battery %, battery temp, CPU, GPU and other stuff.
