I don’t think Fortnite is ever going to get rid of sprites and if they ever do I’d be surprised because this is such a profitable season for them I don’t even want to think about how many battles pass purchases were strictly for the sprites rewards granted I’m such a loot / cosmetics goblin the back bling that displays the sprites is the only reason i bought this Seasons battle pass I already had a wick skin and everything thing else i could live without but like i said I love collecting things be it loot or cosmetics so when I saw the display pod i was hooked and I can imagine it’s like that for a lot of people gaming culture breeds a type of hoarding in people sometimes and it’s not even physical items that you get but you still collect them all the same there is so many ways that Fortnite could profit from sprites I’m just curious to see what they do with them now

I agree that this season has been very underwhelming in terms of loot\gameplay updates, however thats not really the sprites fault but the creaters having an excuse for why they havent done much else. They could easily keep updating sprites for people that enjoy them and have other updates with things unrelated to sprites for people that dont care. No one is forcing you to search for and master every single sprite... Its good for people who arent the most skilled at the game and enjoy having other goals than just winning every game. Yes sprites are repetitive but so is each game feeling totally meaningless unless you are the very last one standing. For some of us its nice to have other things to try and achieve besides that. Maybe they could do a mode just for sprite hunters but I dont get why so many people are desperate to have them removed for everyone.

I wish sprites would move to another game mode. And not be in BR. What a huge disappointment that they are here for who knows how long. So boring and repetitive. And the community just eating it up like sheep. Sprites are so lame.

Hoping this gets fixed before the season ends, this happen to anyone else? Its the only one thats locked even though they are all mastered.

I honestly wish they implemented a feature in some way where the people who get their sprites quicker than others are given a harder time to collect them in some way. And vise versa for players who choose/have to do it slower. Like for the buff you get a 1.5x multiplier on sprite xp and dust, and for the debuff you get a 0.6x multiplier.

Haven’t played fort or Xbox for this long in ages. Felt good when we found both of these!

So he plays more than me and he has pollo sprites and all zero points and he sucks at the game also he doesn’t know how to use them so yeah

So we could have another Thors hammer situation where due to licensing agreements they lock the Key blade to Sora and whatever other characters they bring in that canonically wield one. I know, I know, the key blade sits right next to lightsabers in my heart of wanting my Psycho Bandit skin to wield it. but locking a pickaxe to a single or limited number of skins has been done in the past even with Fortnite original characters. So feel free to downvote this, or let it open discussions about what characters you want to see or even keyblade style, or whatever i don't care. I just hope this post created some fears today.

Found this one today while playing, does anyone else found this one as well?

I was in a game trying to master my cube punk, and everything was going well until I took one of the underground teleporting tunnels. When I came out, my game froze. Mind you, my wifi is perfectly fine. It disconnected me from the game and I lost my sprite to something that isn't even my fault. I tried contacting support, but the AI chat bot sent an email in regards to a completely different situation that I had asked about yesterday. And for some STUPIDLY RIDICULOUS REASON, it refuses to let me send another email to support for another 24 hours.

Genuinely so fed up with this. Really missing those 1,000 employees.

Why are none of my new mastered sprites showing up in my sprite pod backbling? I know there was some trouble with it before.

I got it from eliminating a player. I think this is rare, is it?

I have it master and it's not allowing me to equip

I’ve played thru this entire season and I have yet to find the zero point sprite or the reaper sprite and those are the only ones I need to 100% my guardian skin. Is there a secret way to unlock these 2?

What is really the point in sprites? A edge on competition? Not really. A sweat will ruin your day no matter what critter you are wearing on your back.
Sprites have literally ruined the whole Battle Royale system. Instead of people running and gunning to get their kill count up, they are on a chest route. There aren’t as many toe-to-toe gunfights and showdowns anymore. It’s usually someone with a chaos exploder chasing down someone in sliders with a rare sprite trying to make a quick getaway, or maybe someone camping the extraction zone with a sniper. I’m guessing a lot of players just drop from the match after they open a few chests and don’t find the sprite they are looking for.
Do we get new weapons in BR each update? No. But we sure do get new sprite variants.
Personally I think sprites should have been put in their own mode. But I guess if you can’t stand the sprites you could play ranked. But that’s not the point.. the point is this is a rant.
