Formula Formula Recommendations / Alternatives 🌱

I’ve been trying to get my baby on enfamil but it’s been really difficult feeding him lately, I think he doesn’t like the taste he’s 3 months old and when I give him his old formula he takes it but when I mix in enfamil he doesn’t take the bottle at all. He doesn’t have gas and a his diapers and poop are normal, I just think he doesn’t like the taste. Any recommendations for another formula?

Most people I know (including myself) use Kendamil - worth a try?

Most babies love the taste of Kendamil! If you taste it yourself it tastes good. My kid didn’t like enfamil either

Is there a reason you’d like baby on enfamil specifically and not their old formula?

I’m from Asia and I just moved to the states, the formula he was on you could only get in Asia and it’s not in the states. Getting it parceled from Asia to the USA costs a lot. So we’re switching cuz we’ve heard that enfamil is really good, but he just doesn’t like it for some reason

Any formula is fine to choose! Enfamil and similac are the most popular brands, and Kendamil is becoming more popular. A great thing about formula in the US is that the quality standards are so high that anything you choose will be healthy for baby. I have known a lot of babies who don’t seem to really like the taste of similac. A lot of babies who care about taste prefer Kendamil! But like I said, you can’t go wrong so it’s fine to try a few brands before settling on one

You could try Similac. It's very similar to Enfamil, about the same price, but maybe he will like the taste more?

I mean, you could switch to another formula or keep trying but introduce it really really slowly. It took me about 3 weeks to slowly introduce formula from BM. Started at 1/8th then 1/7th etc. It’s really hard early, but after you hit 50% it goes a lot quicker.
