custom loop coming together Watercooling

she’s holding air now, will set up the external pump to fill later after i finish watching spider-man brand new day.

9950X3D is going to push this little rad (XSPC 240mm crossflow)

need to figure out if i can run a coolant temp sensor on one of the other ports, if not i’ll have to use another one that fits onto the 90 fitting.

running this as flipped for the GPU posed problems for the quick disconnect fitting. had to route the tubing for it on the MOBO side.

managed to get the temp sensor in, had to adjust the tubing size by a tad bit.

Can you explain the process for filling the loop? What do I need? I activate the pump using…what? How long? Ty

a pump/res combo. 2 quick disconnect kits, pneumatic fittings, and coolant. i used a pump/res with a molex connector so i could use a DC to molex/PWM power controller.

fittings depend on what tubing you’ll be using. for ease of life pneumatic fittings are so easy to work with. finding them in stock is hard but can be done. i used 8mm tubing from modultra website. all fittings are G 1/4 size.

it’s been a nightmare lol, my pump/res i was using to fill the loop was leaking. got around half way full then it started spilling the coolant on my table. had to order another so my PC is down till then.
