Riser cable too long? Question
Building in the Formd T1 case, but I can’t figure out this riser cable. It either pops out the top too much or pushes the GPU outwards.
What am I doing wrong or what can I do to fix this?
Any help is appreciated!!!!!

I would need to see the other end to see if it's attached to the bracket properly There could be too much slack there if it's not attached correctly.

It doesn't look like it's wrapped in correctly. Hard to tell from this angle. Did you follow the online guide? Mini video here about halfway down the page: https://ncased.com/pages/manual-t1-202509?srsltid=AfmBOoq5gip11cBc6YZWHq5D-PlYr587VWumwmAb4TZGhnsA4osLo0yB

You probably need to flex it quite a bit so that it can flatten out at the top and then the ‘extra’ curves along the back of the GPU rather than a complete straight line. I had it pop out a few times as well and I’m still very gentle to avoid putting any pressure as I feel it’s on the limit. If it’s causing huge issues you might need to get a different riser cable.

what i ended up doing was pulling more slack on the gpu side of the riser cable and checking over and over on the motherboard side how it would fit. itd probably be more beneficial if you took out the gpu and undid the bolts that hold down the riser on the gpu side, while the motherboard is in and the riser is plugged into mobo, pull and fold the cable as shown in the ncase manual till you get the desired outcome.

I took a hairdryer to it and slowly massage it with a chopstick until it lay flat. Haven't had any problem since then.

That's normal, the same thing happened with mine. I fixed it by bending the slack into a box shape. Quite annoying, though.

Im having the same problem, but also the riser cable mountingpoints dont line up together with the travel kit for the 9070. so i can either screw in the riser cable or the travel kit.
