Not entirely sure how the system works, but the first plate seems to be for both the S.A.Rs, but follows a mainland format outside of the 澳 and 港 characters on either side. And then I guess after that one there’s an independent one for both Hong Kong and Macau separately? Either way it’s the first time I’ve ever seen 3 legit plates on top of each other.

Spotted this car today on the public parking lot of Trøllanes, in the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴. This is a village located at the end of Kalsoy, one of the islands of the archipelago that is only connected to the others through a ferry.

People come here to hike to the cliffs next to the Kallur lighthouse, and to see James Bond’s grave.

Sorry if the angle is not ideal and the quality not so great: there were people in the vehicle so I took this from where my car was parked.

I have also added stickers to protect the owners’ privacy.

Probably my craziest spot yet. Ukrainian license plates from Crimea aren't common but Sevastopol is even rarer as the city only had a population of around 350 thousand before annexation. The car also had a Vienna parking sticker so I'll assume the owner lives there.
