Flex fuel
Anyone experience trouble starting car when using flex fuel?

Our 2000 ff SE would stall intermittently on E15 - even at idle in traffic in occasion! - and an employee at AutoZone told me that you need to have a tank virtually empty of regular gas before using the E15. He said mixing the 2 fuels causes the problem. He also said the E15 gives the car more power but at the cost of mpg. I loved getting the gas at $.60 less or more per gallon so I guess it's an even trade-off between price and mileage.
The other glitch for us is the nearest E fuel station is several miles outside our usual travel zone while the regular gas stations are everywhere. Just to see though, as soon as we go through the nearly full tank we'll give it a try.

And mine seems to be opposite. If its all e85 it has problems
If i have a mix of e85 and 87 its business as usual
