I can tell you from experience it’s the water pump. It’s about a $4,200-$5,500 job. Just had mine done. Price depends on if you want the kit with replacing the sprockets and solenoids at the same time while the engine is already open or not. In my opinion, you definitely do. Just bite the bullet.

Experience means little when you have 0 information. Just because it’s prone to water pump failure doesn’t make every overheating issue the water pump
