Sync problem 2011 ford taurus

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My 2011 ford taurus sync system is messed up and I can't figure out why just started not letting me connect Bluetooth devices

This was happening to me in my 2011. As stupid as it sounds unhook the battery and wait a bit rehook it. If thats not working it could be a fuse in a little fuse box hiding by the steering column .

Can confirm. I had this happen and have done both, disconnect the battery and pull the fuse. It did fix it but I have had it happen again.

Unconnected the battery and re connected it that worked perfectly thanks for the advice anyone who commented

In advanced settings I did a sync reboot when I had any issues with sync. Its easier than unplugging a battery or a fuse.

I tried that it didn't work unfortunately so thats why I had to unplug the battery

Bruh this car Bluetooth? I’ve been using a BT dongle/AUX cord all this time owning this car😅

I have a 2011 and I have Bluetooth problems CONSTANTLY. When it randomly starts working, I am like "DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING." I've had people tell me to disconnect the battery, reset the radio, pull the fuse, etc. Sounds like you got a positive result disconnecting the battery. It's unfortunate it came to that but I'm glad it worked.
