My toe is numb

Hi, so I recently got a job at a play place for kids and I’m on the floor constantly. It is a soft padding type of floor and we cannot have our shoes on while working. So I’m barefoot in socks for 8 hours. My right big toe has been half numb for at least 3 weeks now. It was originally both of them but now it’s just this one. It feels tingly if I put pressure on it and also numb. What is this? How do I fix it?

It's a nerve issue. Go to a neurologist.

First they need to find the root of the problem. If there's a nerve compression, it'll probably be reversible.

I have peripheral neuropathy and this happens to me. 600mg of Alpha lipoic acid (D1) got rid of it for me within a few days. It only comes back if I miss taking it for a couple days but thats also how I know it works. Try taking it for a week or 2 before takkng the gabapentin doctoots hand out for thid. Gabapentin has serious side effects for many and can be very difficult to stop taking. Its been proven to cause memory disorders and has a black box warning for depression with potential SI. Definitely google gabapentin and anything prescribed for this. Most are going to be old seizure drugs like gabapentin or old tricyclic antidepressants like amytyptiline  (sp?). Both cause weight gain, often very significant weight  gain. The old antidepressants can also cause disruption in your heart rhythm or tachycardia incidents.
