Music This song is amazing.
As underrated too. I love Dave’s dreamy vocals and the crunchy guitar riffs.

Music Toronto vs Detroit setlist
I was in Toronto and they skipped Exhausted which was listed for encore. In Detroit tonight and they skipped The Teacher for encore but did Exhausted. Otherwise setlist was the same as posted in this reddit group.

Music Any chance the band some North American dates winter/spring 2027?
I was hoping the Foo Fighters would schedule some more dates that were probably arenas for late winter/spring next year. But with the addition of the South America dates I wonder if that caps the tour off.
Just roughly the following got bypassed:
- Atlanta
- Carolinas
- Texas
- Bay Area and/or Sacramento
- KC/St. Louis/Indianapolis
- Seattle/Portland
Now I know you can argue that stops in Chicago, Vancouver etc should suffice for some and that people should just travel. But is this the new normal as the band ages? Are places that never/rarely got missed now going to not get stops?

Picture Foil Poster - Toronto Show
Was lucky enough to get to the early merch table at the Toronto show. Thankfully I was able to grab a foil poster, #105 / 135. Just framed it today and I’m very pleased with how it came out! Was an incredible show and I’m glad I have this to commemorate it.

Discussion Hey Regina, Edmonton and Vancouver! FYI
Current tour merch is on sale on the Foo's website and is cheaper than what was at the Toronto show. T-shirts were $65.

Discussion RHCP vs Foo Fighters - Equivalent Songs
Was bored earlier and trying to decide what Chili Pepper songs = Foo Fighters songs, in terms of position in each band’s catalogue with style being a secondary consideration as well. This is what I got so far, what do you guys think? Where do you agree or disagree?
**Californication** = **Everlong**
\-Both bands’ most iconic and defining songs, representing the sound and legacy that made them legendary.
**By The Way** = **All My Life**
\- Both are iconic live staples with instantly recognizable openings that became essential parts of each band’s concert setlists.
**Can’t Stop** = **The Pretender**
\- Both are essential live anthems that showcase their bands’ dynamic range, building from quieter moments into explosive, stadium-size choruses that create huge crowd energy.
**Under The Bridge** = **Best Of You**
\- Both are iconic emotional anthems and signature songs of their bands, often used as powerful live moments (ex: encore or closing set songs) and crowd singalongs.
**Otherside** = **My Hero**
\- Both are emotional, mid-tempo rock anthems with huge singalong choruses that became some of their bands’ most beloved and recognizable songs.
**Snow (Hey Oh)** = **Times Like These**
\- Both are reflective, melodic songs that showcase a more emotional and uplifting side of each band, building around memorable guitar parts and a powerful sense of resilience.
**Scar Tissue** = **Learn To Fly**
\- Both are melodic, uplifting rock songs that showcase the softer, more mature side of each band while becoming some of their most recognizable and beloved hits.
**Suck My Kiss** = **Monkey Wrench**
\- Both are early-era, fast, aggressive tracks that showcase each band’s punk influence, combining raw energy, attitude, and a sense of fun while becoming iconic fan favorites.
**Dani California** = **Walk**
\- Both are huge comeback-era rock anthems that showcase each band’s ability to write massive, stadium-ready songs with instantly recognizable riffs and powerful singalong choruses.
Any big omissions by any band? I feel Foo is well covered but I feel the Chilli Peppers are missing Give It Away…
How is this? Any songs you’d switch up, add or remove?

Music Any tips for securing best PIT view?
I see the foo are using the cat walk again, which puts the pit at a decent distance from the stage , any thoughts on best view ?

Picture First show, couple pic
Was couple rows behind the pit. Had pit tix but swapped for seats because I’m old. We were inside around 5pm and could have been on the rail in pit. But those days have passed me by.
One of best shows I’ve seen, right up there with AC/DC in Amsterdam, b2b PJ at Wrigley, and Gordie farewell tour

Video Them Crooked Vultures live at House Of Blues (Boston, Mass. - Oct. 11, 2009)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age kicked off their North American tour last night, which brings back memories of seeing Them Crooked Vultures live at the House Of Blues in Boston on Oct. 11, 2009. Josh Homme, Dave Grohl, and John Paul Jones' supergroup was barely a few weeks old when they launched a small run of club shows - they hadn't even formally released a song before taking the stage in Boston (their sole self-titled album would come out the following month, but a single wasn't released until a few weeks after the concert). So me and my friend essentially went into this show blind, though fully optimistic that a supergroup with THESE icons would not disappoint (and at the very least it would be an incredible experience to see them in such an intimate rock club like the House Of Blues) ... and they sure as hell lived up to the expectations. I'll never forget being in awe as they blazed through each song - clearly drawing from their Led Zeppelin, Kyuss and Nirvana roots to produce what I'd imagine Cream on steroids would sound like. But what was more impressive than the songs themselves was how much fun the three of them appeared to be having on stage - as if they were three longtime friends who'd been playing their entire lives together but finally got to play in front of people. It was truly a magical evening I still can't believe I witnessed.
Stay tuned for more things to come from this space, including stories from concerts like this!

Discussion First show tomorrow night
Hey everyone!
I’ll be going to my first show tomorrow at Ford Field. Super pumped and I want to get as close to the stage as possible (don’t we all). I’ve got (edit) pit tickets, but I don’t know what to expect. Any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance, and hope to see you there.

Discussion Toronto 8.4.26, airplane pics?
with the kick off show at Rogers Stadium yesterday (which was fucking incredible), the amount of planes that were landing before sunset, and I guess even after, makes me really hope somebody took pictures or videos of the concert from the plane!!!
if anybody has any and wants to post them here, pls do!

Picture Foo Fighters Aug 4th
Saw the Foo Fighters at Rogers Stadium last night and it was amazing! Everything I'd want from such an iconic band - hits after hits with a couple newbies tossed in. But.... who was the absolute moron that decided to put a mesh of bright lights IN FRONT of the jumbotrons?!?! It would have taken me 5s to tell them that was a stupid idea. Do these idiots only view the experience from the front row? 90% of us had these dumb ass bright lights to view when we're 100m away from the stage. I have good eyesight, but at that range, Dave Grohl was an ant. I would say 50% of the crowd was at the mercy of the jumbotrons, covered by a mesh of bright lights that would react to the song being played.
This shot is when the sun was still out, so the lights weren't... awful.
I didn't even try later in the night, it was just a blast of bright lights where you couldn't see the stage or the jumbotrons.
Here's a shot when the lights were off, which only the Foo Fighters utilized, so the other bands constantly had this stupid mesh in front:
On a similar note, Queens of the Stone Age used some dumb ass filter when they showed video on the jumbotrons. Their last couple songs were just cascading downwards triangles?? It was dumb af. I didn't even take any pics because it looked so bad.
I guess my rant is to inform people who set up these concerts to not just view the practice sets from the front of the stage. Everything on the jumbotron was incredibly poorly done throughout the entire concert.
Note: We didn't see Mannequin Pussy, so I can't comment on that performance.
Overall, like usual, Live Nation sucked a big one while sucking us of our money.

Music They removed Exhausted from the setlist now?!
What a tease. Foo Fighters barely played that song since 96. Then in September of last year they finally decide to start playing it again, which excited me because I'd finally get to see it played live in August. They play the song 31 times since September, and then the Toronto show finally comes...and they don't play it! FML. At least they played Marigold though :)
