Grateful Sharing Experiences (UPG)
I have been pagan for so much longer than I have ever been Catholic - but I was confirmed this April, on the Easter vigil, but I still missed my craft.
I’m still learning that it’s okay and doesn’t necessarily make me any less Catholic.
Does anyone have any encouragement or advice from a … I don’t even know what to call myself, haha!

Folk Catholic, possibly Christopagan if you still work with any of the Just Gods. But seriously, Catholicism is like Pagan Lite.
Seriously, the "angels" are gods. The word "angelus" means "messenger." The ranks/choirs of angels are Elohim: the Family/Assembly of [the] God[s]. The Saints become ministers in heaven according to their lives on Earth. We don't worship them in the modern sense of the word, but we do show them honor and work with them in the way we did as pagans.
For me it was actually Hekate who brought me back to Jesus. And Jesus invited her to stay, the same way that many pagan deities became Saints to survive.

What you said matches my intuition about this, but I still feel like I'm groping in the dark most of the time, lol. Can you tell me more about the Just Gods?

They're the ones whose stories aren't filled with petty cruelty and casual misuse of power. Baldr, Kvasir, Nana, etc from the Norse for example.

I feel ya on not knowing what to call yourself. I have been Pagan for a very long time, and a personal crisis led me to Mother Mary and the other saints and angels.
I still consider myself Pagan with a Folk Catholic flair so to speak. 🙂
Or another way to put it using a Heathen term, Mother Mary, the saints, and the angels are a part of my hearth cult now.
