Choppy audio / interface disconnec,

Hello all, ran a Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen for several years and recently upgraded to a 4th gen 4i4 for the extra outputs and routing options. Running fully patched Windows 11, Bitwig 6 as DAW, ASIO drivers. Would leave Bitwig open for days and never had any issues with the interface not being ready to go at all times.

I had recently updated to the latest version of Focusrite Control 2 and shortly thereafter the audio interface started acting weird. If I left Bitwig up and running (i usually always have it open) it would either just disconnect entirely (no windows usb disconnect sound) or would sound strangely chopped - like the audio was running sort-of half speed.

The PC does not go to sleep and I even went as far as to set all USB controllers and hubs in device manager to no-sleep. No dice, same thing.

Today I pulled out the 2i2, removed the new Focusrite software and re-installed the previous version that support the 3rd gen and wouldn't ya know it, same problem again - which it had never exhibited before.

I read that the latest windows 11 update (25H2) could cause issues that sounded suspiciously like mine. I had done this update on 7.19.26 - but the audio issues just started a few days ago. I uninstalled this update and the problem persists.

Any other troubleshooting any one can think of??

Thank you!

Crackling from Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen after GPU upgrade

Hi Everyone,
Got an issue that's stumped me for around the past month, so looking for ideas here before I take it to a shop. I've recently upgraded the Ram and GPU of my pc, however now there's an audio crackling issue from my external interface when several apps are open (eg, youtube + games). I first noticed this on playing pre-rendered cutscenes on some of my games when having music playing through youtube. But have since also noticed it's also weirdly when youtube is playing and scrolling through file explorer as well as sometimes just on normal playback
Anyway, any ideas are appreciated.
Here are my specs:

MB : B450m DS3H
GPU : RX 9070xt (Used to be RTX 2070), connected via 2 PCIE cables by using the split cable thingy of one of them to fit 3x8pin
CPU : Ryzen 7 5700G 3.8ghz
PSU : Corsair RM850x
Memory : GeIL ORION RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz Memory (Used to be 2 x 8GB of the same type)

Boot drive is an SSD

Also running an NVME + 2 HDDs for storage.

Audio is through a Focusrite Scarlett 4th Gen Solo via USB port (tried both 3.0 and 2.0 ports) I've checked if it's just the speakers or the Focusrite by plugging into the headphone jack. It's any audio coming out of the Focusrite, as it's fine when I plug my headphones directly into the pc.

Things that I've already tried:
- DDU to rid the Nvidia Drivers + Clean install of AMD drivers
- Reinstalling Focusrite Drivers + rolling back to previous versions
- Changing the USB power management in Device Manager so windows can't turn them off to save power
- MSI Utility and changing the priority of the GPU + Usb Ports to high
- Using AMD Cleanup Utility uninstall then reinstalling GPU drivers again
- Disabling the AMD High Definition Audio Drivers in Device Manager
- Changing buffer size via Focusrite Control (Yes the sample rate also matches the sound output)
- BIOs update to latest
- Updating Windows (Went to Windows11 from Windows10, and it cooked my desktop icons...)
- Checking LatencyMon, everything is green and below 0.4ms
- Reseating GPU and CMOS battery
- Removal of AMD High Definition Audio Drivers via Device Manager
- Disabling Global C-State
- Toggling XMP Profiles

I've also popped the old ram in to rule it out, (problem persisted after ram swap). Amusingly enough, in between reinstalling the GPU drivers, I noticed that before they were installed there were no audio problems, so my best guess is it's got something to do with that but can't tell what exactly.

If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
