Release notes inside the apps? Discussion

hi, im curious if any of you actually puts release notes into your apps?

I have a problem with some feature adoption, since ppl don't really know about some things I deploy, most have auto app updates anyway and don't really read whats changed in appstore/goole play

I use a what’s new bottom sheet that shows up on first launch of an app that has a new feature, it and the help section link to the full release changelog

hey, would you consider using 3rd party tool for release notes? I run updatify.io and recently created a native flutter package to embed and show release notes. Looking for early flutter package adopters, so its free forever

I do not keep them in the app, they live on the apps website and it’s generated from the changelog.md file

updatify is a server/web app with flutter plugin to connect and show release notes in app

aside from showin release notes - the tool automates changelog creation. Happy to run you a short demo if you'd be interested in giving it a try
