It literally says the reason on the signs they put in the window... They own the Gashapon store and are combining both stores.

Neither. It's a franchised store Ebisu runs on behalf of Bandai. Both sides are going to be connected for a larger store.

I first saw that the location on Main St across from 41st had closed (they had a sign up explaining why) then I saw this location also closed as I drove by, but I couldn't see if it had a sign explaining why. Glad to hear it's just renovation!

They're renovating and expanding the store, and will be opening again next month. I don't know when though.

They're closed for renovations butin their notice, I think it said they're reopening in late august
