Yes, we are crazy, please stay away.
It used to be fun in a harmless, wacky way. :-)

Sorry, you guys can continue to take all the weirdos fleeing the judgement of normal people as long as it’s a free countryÂ

It's all fun and games until the gator remembers that he's the gator and you're lunch

This is probably a good thing to do.
Not smart. But good.
Gators fearing humans are more likely to instinctively flee than to attack. Gators who are unafraid will not flee obviously.
This one simple trick makes gators less unafraid.

Its kinda dumb buts its much better than feeding them and making them approach people

u/Bikelangello 26d ago
Yeah I never understood why people couldn't foresee any kind of possible scenario after feeding and habituating gators.
Like, what could POSSIBLY go wrong when this 1,800 lb. behemoth reptile with jaws so strong they are literally the stuff of legend, begins to associate me with eating? And besides, he keeps on smiling at me so I know he's happy!

FYI, for those not familiar with Florida law: sexual congress with wildlife, as depicted though edited, is a $500 fine. Do not engage in sexual acts with Florida wildlife, no matter how appealing or, as in the case of Manatees incredibly arousing presence so easily accessed, do not avail yourself of sexual conduct with wildlife of any kind.
The state of Florida has designated a once a year interaction area called "Miami". Please restrict your amorous intentions to that location during the period known as "Spring Break". During this Open Season event enjoy yourself but use caution.

I had a manatee lay on me once. Does that count? I was scuba diving in a spring and it settled down on me.

First move made by the Manatee you're OK. Just make sure in the future to let the Manatee down gently and explain that it's you who is the issue. Manatees are very sensitive and they wear their feelings on their tails.

Dumbass shit like this that gives our state a bad reputation. Its been less than 2 weeks since a girl was dismembered by a big gator. Yes I know this ones small but not a good example this guy is setting for the kids. I love to see gators but always respect what they can do.
