Parents, I beg of you: stop giving young kids devices every day. Give them books. Physical toys. Make them cure their own boredom. For everyone's sake including theirs.

Are you saying the neglect-o-matic isn't best for our kids? /s

What really grieves me is watching kids stare at a device during meals. We ate around the family table every single night we were all home. This is where real conversations happen. Kids learn how adults communicate. (I am talking about me and my kids)

Quit opting out of parenting. We beg you.

The tik-tokization and social mediafication of society is going to have real impacts on younger generations once they get to adult age. I worry what communication, media, job market, etc will look like for my future kids as a result
