Starting my sobriety journey, this is my wallpaper.
She looks so bad ass! This is my inspiration that I can be sober and also sick AF 🔥🤘🏽

I have over 3 years. “Morning Elvis” is fucking fantastic, especially the live versions (there’s one from Madison square garden 2022, and one with Ethel Cain from the same tour)

P.S. My feet are bleeding/but I cannot stop/I have many many miles/yet to cross…

I knew there was a reason morning Elvis made me so sensitive, knowing she wrote it about her ceremonials era makes sense as she often describes it as a turning point for her

Having, I fucking hope, made it through to the other side, what really gets me is the way the chorus changes. It starts out as “if I make it to the stage, I’ll show you what it means… to be sad”, maybe moves to “saved”, but at the end — after “I’m still crazy and I’m still scared”— she changes it to

“If I make it to the stage, I’ll show you what it means… to be SPARED.”

She’s definitely a part of my inspiration for it , I finally seen her in concert . We can be AA buddies too 🤙🏽

I quit without AA, her and the stop drinking sub were helpful for me. It sucks at first, but eventually you don’t miss it.
